I don't know whats wrong with your generation but you had better sit and just examine yourself (not with you hands either)..Maybe you think that you are cute...well you ain't and you aint funnY!!
I believe there are so many incredible and descriptive words out there to use... why get so bent out of shape over the four-letter ones?
I know I wouldn't have been able to visit Inforoo at my last job if there weren't goofy words to replace ones my corporate The Man conservative place of employment didn't like. I think having a big happy family is far better than being able to say the words I used to scream from the swingsets in 6th grade.
And I like poo from my butt... it cracks me up every time. A 6th grader wouldn't say it because it's too... ridiculous. Bonnaroo is a time to be silly and be free... the changing of the filters just adds to the fun of the place!

And perhaps your parents didn't teach you the definition of freedom of expression, and this isn't the time nor place for me to educate you.
As for everyone else, pro and con censorship, I simply asked a question. I never said it was necessary, I never said it wasn't. It just surprises me that Bonnaroo is about expression and freedom and the board that is most popularly associated with Bonnaroo is in itself censored.
I simply voiced my opinion in the appropriate thread. That's it, end of story. "Adam says so" is good enough for me.
I only brought it up initially because I am personally against censorship of any kind. As a parent, I understand concerns regarding content and children - but violence is a bit more of a problem than sh1t or p1ss to me...
To that ridiculously self-righteous user 'popoooo', I can only say that "Catcher in the Rye" is an amazing piece of literature and it isn't spotless in the language category by any means. Swearing is not indicative of anythiing other than ones vocabulary. 'popoooo' used the word "aint" which to me is far worse than any swear word someone can utter on this forum...
So long story short (too late), peace to everyone, didn't mean to kick up anything - I just wanted to ask a question and make a statement. Now if you'll excuse me, my soapbox is getting wobbly....

Figured I'd ask this here instead of starting a new thread.... Can someone PM me with the less common censor words? Like Summer's Breeze, diarrhea... so on and so forth...

I think all of the dirty words should be censored to variations of "smurf," so that we can all be saying things like, "That guy is such a smurf," "Smurf you, you smurfing smurf," and "That smurfing smurf smurfed that smurfy girl the other smurfing day." (For the record, I'm totally serious. I think this would be smurfing awesome. )

My brother and I have done the same thing in the realz, but we choose to use a relative's name. It is pretty funny.

Ha ha! I decided to dick around and try to figure out which word was changed to "smurf." Hope nobody thinks I'm a dick for posting this, but I think I got it.

You got it, SM. I was going to say something about the way smurfs' heads are mushroom shaped, but thought better of it. In retrospect, I'm glad I kept that to myself.
