where the link to vote???
You should've gotten (or should be soon, atleast) an email with a link to vote. Each person can only vote once, so I don't think sending you my link would work...
Anyone else get this email about the Sonicbids finalists?
Personally, I'm voting for Telepath. I saw them open for Lotus a few weeks back and they got everybody in the perfect mindset for a wild night. Definitely would love to see them open up Langerado! ;D
I never got an e-mail
Who are the other finalists? Telepath was pretty good..
Dude, I need to see Lotus again. I want to see them in a festival setting.... At the Towson show, when the set break hit and the crowd around me started out for a cig I bolted for the rail and got front and frickin center. AWESOME show.
i gave a listen to all the bands and my favorite is jounce from NYC.. they are a really good sound. Much like a instrumental jam band i think but have a listen for urself. www.sonicbids.com/epk/epk.asp?epk_id=76368 oh ya did i mention that the bass player is Danny Tamberelli who is young pete from the nickelodeon show pete and pete..
So lets vote for him and bug him about getting season 3 on dvd..

Congrats to our Sonicbids Finalists!
Thank you to all of the bands who entered the 2008 Langerado Sonicbids contest. There were so many talented performers that entered it was a very difficult decision to narrow it down. These 10 bands stood out from the rest and now it’s up to you to choose which lucky group gets the chance of a lifetime-performing at Langerado! The winning band will open up Langerado 2008 on Thursday, March 6th. Voting is open until Monday, February 25th at 11:59pm EST. Click on the bands name to listen to their music.
- Telepath from Asheville, NC. - The Gordon Stone Band from Waterbury, VT. - Latch Key Kid from Los Angeles, CA. - Sam Kininger Band from Boston, MA. - Jounce from New York, NY. - Suenalo from Miami, FL. - Wait For Green from Tallahassee, FL. - The JeanMarie from Miami, FL. - Palominos from Richmond, VA. - Oceana Gayden and Zenphonic from Nashville, TN.

ok...new idea. how about we bring 1 or more refrigerator boxes and paint it like a bus with "futhuROO" painted on it... i think that'd be awesome.
Yes!!!, sort of a removable cardboard body that could be fitted over and attached to the vehicle. This would also provide camo and help avoid having it recaptured. I think you're gonna do a fine job Brownie....I mean 006

No. Any ideas?
I like the tiger pits and maps idea someone had for Bonnaroo.
Thats a pretty good idea. What about rigging the flags with a giant boulder that will roll down and smush anybody that steals them? It'd be totally Indiana Jones.

Oh...i was thinking more along the lines of something to stand inside and run around in the vein of a "space ship" or "race car" that a child would use his/her imagination for. This would certainly avoid that little legal worry of explaining why we thought necessary to "borrow" a golf cart, not to mention the process of finding one unattended ;D
Or how about rigging the only path to the flagpole to a piano made out of bones. And you have to play the piano...... and if you make too many mistakes....... like in Goonies.

you know, someday chef, i'd like to have a nice organic corn dish and watch the goonies with you.

OK, I realize all this sounds a little risky now, not to mention stupid and completely unnecessay, but there will be plenty of liquid (and solid and gaseous) courage and inspiration available when the time comes. And everything will just flow naturally when the time comes for action.
