It was a plate of mac&cheese/mashed potatoes/chicken legs from the deli downstairs... and it LOOKED fantastic... but it was freakin' awful, and I'm still hungry... I should'a just got a sammy

I'd love too, but it's too far away from me. Considering I'm located in a central location (Oklahoma), Bonnaroo is the closest decent fest to me (I don't consider Waka decent after the debacle in '06) and it's an 11-hour drive. If I wasn't so anal about having ALL my camping gear, I could fly, but I border on OCD about that stuff.

are there fire ants on the mountaintop? If so, I think we need to elect somebody new for fire ant safety committee. Last time we saved a spot for someone in camp, their doorway had an anthill for a doormat

Here comes the buzzkill... i don't mean to be, but i'm gonna be honest... there was like 50-70 people at camp inforoo brunch and i was pretty uncomfortable.
from the list it looks much smaller, but if lots of other people get the idea and show up and there's like 50+ people waiting at walmart to hit up the campsite, i may split off and just go camp with my wife. i don't know where that anxiety came from that day, i'm usually an incredibly social person and my posts reflect the way i interact with people in real life.
but maybe camp infogood will be different, who knows...

^I actually got a little freaked out at the brunch myself, and split. It was just very strange to meet all the people. That being said I think this is going to be a little easier going, I have already met about half the people who are going to be there, and I am excited to meet the other half. Of course Becca is in her own category, like meg I feel I already know her .

that sounds a helluva lot more doable! i can almost guarantee i'm bringing 2 ez ups. i pretty much broke one at this years roo... it has a loose joint on 2 sides. it will still go up, and stay up no problem, but is a pain without a few people helping out... i plan on buying another one in the next few weeks. :-)

okay here i go being lil miss sparkly. dude, i will say it again cuz ive said it to many ppl many times before... meetups at non roo events are 34823482385234893842389423 times better than roo related meetups. its a much chiller, calmer, cooler, relaxed type of deal...back me up people

i hung out and ate some corn with purplefuzzystuff and some girl named Elisa, who apparently isn't on Inforoo, and they were nice.
Aly,CCR, bunny and RooFanInTN seemed to be pretty inviting and overall very nice peoples. everybody else was just really busy and it was hard to get into conversations with anybody. Although i had the brief pleasure of meeting meg, boz, troo & bamabelle, along with a handful of other peoples
Im tryin to join up once i get there. probably wont make walmart, but we have to stop there, so maybe we can make it by noon. i have becca's cell #, if anyone else wants to PM me their just in case, that would be cool
