at this point, I really can't think of many bands that I'd pass up seeing STS9 for. Every single second that they are on stage is absolute bliss for me
However, if I ever had to choose between MMJ or STS9 I think I would seriously cry...

Yup... I learned that the easy way... by following Princess blinky and the doc
*edit* and MMJ beats just about everyone but The Floyd, no thought required... and doubt THAT conflict will ever come up... though I'd LOVE to have to skip MMJ someday

That would be the only reason I could justify missing Jacket. And I too would absolutely love having to miss them that night too!

The real trick to an Umphrey's show is to stick around, if you only stay for part of the build up you miss out on the climax
I think the same is said for STS9.
And I didnt mean anything bad about your music taste bama. I just didnt get to see any because I was waiting right up front for STS9. And after that I just couldnt pull myself away.
A friend of mine thought the Tribe was a little much, so he went and he went to check out some Umph. and he said it was slammin' but also equally as intense and mind blowing

so i just now cleaned out my lil rainbow backpack (w/ the unicorn - you know the one ) and i found...
3 flower necklaces (almostcertain and aly i hope the orange and the purple ones have a good new home) 1 jolly rancher pop (not as good as blowpops but do last almost an entire phil show) bobby pins (there they are!!! ;D) a piece of langerado field ( ) lots of change a camp bisco flyer!!!! a dead glowstick
I usually find dead glowsticks in with my stuff when i finally do clean it out, but I did a thorough search of all of my stuff to make sure there wasn't anything tagging along that I wouldn't want going through airport security.. so I tossed em all(I think... I still haven't completely unpacked the pack)

my pack isnt unpacked completely yet either... i have soo many glowsticks.. we will use em next time i didnt light a SINGLE superbright the entire weekend???!!

..and on a side note its gonna take me a while to get over rado. i gained some new incredible friendships some of which came as a surprise, some of which just grew... i saw amazing music i just had the best time...

i put my 2 new blinkies (blinkie wand with butterfly and blinkie wand circle thing from wisecracker) up on my festy bookshelf (hard to explain but it has all my memories on it)
I need to dig my camelbak out of the car tomorrow and unload it -- I'm sure it's full of plenty of odd things.

I'm sure plenty of opportunities will arise in the future!! Trust me, I'm just as disappointed at my lack of connections with all you Inforoo kids. Hopefully, plenty of fests will be shared down the road.

true your just one of the first ppl i ever talked to on inforoo! so i was lookin fwd to seein you in the flesh ;D
