american babies is a jamband super group, that doesnt jam. lol more of a rock/folk/americana vibe tom hamilton (of brothers past fame) Scott metzger (particle) Joe Russo (the duo) hamiltons brother (hamiltons brother) Magner (bisco) not sure if he is playing live with them tho I know he does sometimes and I'm pretty sure he is on the album.
personally I don't really like these guys I think tom should just get brothers past back together.
RJD2 is a dj, hes pretty cool, depends on his mood and what he feels like playing tho.

Yeah, if I'm in town on Sunday I might head down there. Don't know what plans the weekend holds just yet. I know I'll be in town on Sat, and I'll probably be bored, so I was thinking about just going down to the little Penn's Landing lot and see what kinda trouble I can get myself into

Blown away by the Biscuits tonight. Fuck the haters, these guys bring it.
Flaming Lips was unreal. No spaceship, but Wayne still did the hamsterball. Rolled right over the top of my head!
They covered Song Remains the Same, and Wayne had a speech about how he pictured Zep playing the song and people in the crowd all taking their clothes off and running around naked. Well people were naked, and they were ROCKING on stage. 4 young ladies completely nude and showing all of Philly what they got, literally.
Oh and I laughed till I cried watching the video of the little kids getting pummled during Fight test. they win in the end though, so it's ok to laugh.
Also busted out Mountain Side from Priest Driven Ambulance, and played the shit out of it too!
Wayne brought out one of the dancers (kid named Zach) and had the whole crowd sing him happy birthday. Touching. Poor kid was in tears.
Ironman and pink bunnies were the dancers tonight.
Played Taps and was a very somber moment.
Finished the set with She Don't Use Jelly, and encored with Do You Realize?
I am a grown 27 year old male, and I honestly cried at three separate moments during the show. Once from laughter, and the other two just out of joy. Nothing has ever moved me as much as a Lips show.
I fucking love this band more than I can justly put into words. Every single time I have a chance to see them I will.

sat they played a lot of new songs, I dont really like the new songs but I cant say anythign bad cause they played the poop out of them, best versions iv heard, aside from air song at nokia cause thats def still the best one, hands down. sat night was pretty meh, aside from a redic orch theme into astronaut, still a great time tho. New deal on friday quacking killed it, and Deadmau5 was def my most anticipated show of the weekend and def my favorite, he killed it and everybody was loving it. pretty awesome weekend all in all saw a lot of friends and made a lot as well. non stop L burning in the courtyard parking garage. oh by the way never ever ever ever ever try to eat pizza in philly it tasted like they spilled sauce on the floor wiped it up with a dity sponge then cooked the sponge and gave it to me.
edit: Oh i completely forgot about the lips, basically if u saw them at roo it was the same show minus the space ship and a bit shorter. also way way to much god damn banter it was like 15 min of wayne babbling then a 4 min song then babble again, Iv seen the lips 3 times now and I'll never go see them again. But if you have never seen them go see them because they are great just dont see them more than once. my 2
