Saw Blink-182 in Nashville last night for the first time since 2001. Great show.
This was also the first time I've seen Turnstile and they were awesome. Hoping they come back to do a set at a smaller venue or even better if they find a way to get on the Shaky Knees line up next year.
Had never heard of Kenny Hoopla but that was a fun set too.

Despite my better judgement, I went to Le Tigre in a lot of pain on Tuesday. Double date with the partner, a very close friend, and his partner. Despite the foot and leg pain, Le Tigre fucking ruled! Way better than at Primavera Sound with better sound and shaking the rust off. Mr. Smalls is an old church in Pittsburgh converted to an 800 person venue, which was an ideal place for them to play. Sold out. Fucking perfect set and night. Man On Man was an amazing opener. Standing actually helped my pain. Highly recommend catching Le Tigre on this tour. Never thought I'd see them and Bikini Kill, let alone in the same year. Love them so much.
Paramore just gets better every time I see them. Can't believe the first time was a decade ago now. They've grown so much as performers since then, and they were already good

I saw a couple of good ones over the weekend.
The Regrettes did a free show at Fountain Square in Cincinnati Friday night. We took my 8-year-old, and she had a blast. As I've suspected, she's definitely going to be my best concert buddy as she gets older. So far, she's seen Jeff Tweedy, Taylor Swift, The Regrettes, and her grandpa's band (which she always insist I include in her concert history) a couple times. As an added bonus, we ran into Capital Cincy at the show.
Then, I caught Regina Spektor at the Andrew J. Brady Center on Sunday. I was a little on the fence about this one, as I'm only passingly familiar with her stuff, and generally, solo piano/acoustic shows can make me a bit sleepy - even from some of my favorite artists. It ended up being fantastic. I love her voice and her lyrics, which both really shined in this format. The sound at the Brady Center - as always - was perfect.
Late posting this, but Ween at the Greek Theatre in LA last week were terrific. I got front row center in the pit and couldn’t stop smiling watching Gene, Dean, and the crew rip through their 32 song setlist.
This was my 8th time seeing them live and I got some very special first timers, including the rare ass “Pollo Asada,” “Push Th- Little Daisies,” and one of my all time favorite Ween songs “Stay Forever.”
Been seeing them since I was 18 and that show made me feel like my old self again. Ween’s the brownest, mang.
Seconding how great Ween is, it was actually my first time seeing them despite how long they've been around. What a great live band, all of them so tight and talented. Played some of my favorites, we got HIV for the first time this year, live versions of Buckingham Green and She Fucks Me were better than studio. We all know they play every genre of music, but to see them go from song to song/genre to genre is so impressive. Beautiful weather, outdoor venue on first fridays in the art district, hot sold out crowd with a ton of ganja.

they opened with it the first time I saw them in 2011, had no idea who they were and it just hooked me. felt so king crimson to me.

Death Grips. I mean that's all I really have to say. Live guitar sounds amazing. Great setlist with a ton of of The Money Store and Exmilitary. No opening act, no encore. I've been having some health issues and have an MRI today, so I didn't risk getting into the pits which was a bummer. Just hung in the back of the floor and could see the whole time which was nice. Definitely my favorite set of the 3 times I've seen them. Recommend catching them on this tour.
Taylor Swift/Haim/Gracie Abrams at SoFi Stadium 8/8
I have not joined the cult of Swifties but may do so at a later date. A big fun pop spectacle in all the best ways, but the best parts were just her with a guitar or at the piano. It's probably decades away since she can pack stadiums and rake in piles of cash for the considerable future, but I'd love to see her do the Springsteen on Broadway/Prince solo thing.
The setting was just sooo beautiful. 100s of people were in sailboats, canoes etc. To listen to the show on the lake. Might have been the last policia show ever.
A week later creeks is the greatest moment/song / performance I have ever seen. Whatever Justin was thinking about and pulling from in that moment I just hope isnt hurting him too muchand can continue to be a source of good in the world as it is for me.

Ended up getting a ticket last minute for Bruce Springsteen at Wrigley last night. Fantastic show. He and the band are in top form. Excited to see him again on Friday!

Was there too. Great show but that eight minute ovation was completely unnecessary.
saw whitmer thomas last night at my favorite venue in the city. the show was so funny and the songs sounded great. it was their last show for a bit so they just took requests after the main show and ended up playing for two hours. so much fun.
Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA. amazing energy, they play off each other so well. Also an incredibly well designed setlist, go see this tour if you can
Seconded! First time seeing either of them since 2019 and the setlist was great, and while a 3500 person show couldn't compare to the super intimate Peggy show I saw in 2019 at my college it was it's whole own beast. Mosh puts erupting all throughout the venue

I got free tickets to see Counting Crows a few nights ago, holy shit did Adam phone it in. It's the first time in a long while that I've seen so many people walk away from a show. He'd belt the new songs, but as soon as he'd get to a hit he'd literally speak the chorus like a theatre kid half asking a monologs, don't see them.
I'm late, but man back to back nights of The Cure and The Smile were awesome, go see them
Decided to see The Flaming Lips again for the first time in 9 years. I told myself I wouldn’t go see them again unless they played Yoshi Battles The Pink Robots. And it was absolutely worth it! Very cool getting to hear One More Robot, Ego Tripping At The Gates of Hell, and Are You A Hypnotist.
Ironically, the true highlight harkened back to the last time I saw Flips on The Terror tour. The band blew everyone away with a truly intense rendition of Always There In Our Hearts. Although their theatrics are very fun, I’m amazed by what Wayne, Steven, and the band can do when they lock in on the music.
The set concluded with My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion - complete with a long speech and a mechanical bird flying around the theater, A Spoonful Weighs A Ton, and Race For The Prize - the first song I ever heard them play live over 15 years ago.
