I haven't gotten it all the way, but I took those from the ateaseweb forums where a guy has nicer equipment than those present in the first one. In addition to that, those were recorded right in front of the sound board. Here's a sample: www.msu.edu/~buckeled/radioroo.mp3

From the sendspace thread........

I think you guys are missing the point of 24 bit audio recordings. They are not intended to be sampled back to a lossy format. What they are intended to do is to be burned to a DVD-A disc and played through a DVD player for an impeccable lossless quality that you cannot acheive on a CD or mp3. Reducing a 24 bit audio recording to a 320 bit rate mp3 essentially takes away the reason for downloading it in 24 bit in the first place. You're not gonna get a whole lot of better quality with an mp3 that started life as 24 bit, compared to an mp3 that started as 16 bit, b/c you are still reducing the lossless format to a lossy format when all is said and done. Does that make sense? I don't want to sound conceited, I just hope everyone understands the difference between the two.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Wow, this Cat Power set is great. big thanks to the person that put it up.
Since the tracklisting isn't up yet, here's what I've come up with. Keep in mind this is skipping the first three tracks (because those are Memphis Rhythm Band songs, not Cat Power) and the sixth song on the second disc (since that song is by the MRB guitarist, not Cat Power).
The Greatest Living Proof Lived In Bars Could We Empty Shell Willie The Moon Islands Where Is My Love Who Knows Where The Time Goes (Nina Simone) Crying Hoping Waiting (The Beatles)/Wild Is The Wind (Nina Simone) House Of The Rising Sun (Traditional) Hate Hit The Road Jack (Ray Charles) Love & Communication I Can't Give You Anything But Love (Louis Armstrong) Good Woman/Dream (Everly Brothers) I've Been Loving You Too Long (Otis Redding)/??? ? ? ?
I really have no idea what to do w/ these bit torrent files. Could someone maybe PM me and help a poor ignorant soul out? Just need a link to somewhere helpful. I'm new to all of this.
Hehe... on the Mike Doughty set in-between his cover of "Paradise City" and "The Gambler" you can hear me laugh in delight as I realize that he's about to bust into the Kenny cover.

download "bittorrent" (from somewhere such as download.com) and then download the torrent files. the bittorrent program turns the torrent into files that you can read/understand. if you are new to this, I would recommend using the thread labeled "sendspace", most of the files in this thread are in .flac format, the sendspace links have been changed to mp3's, which may be easier for you to use.

yeah, i'm anxiously awaiting RRFB, Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Cat Empire...I know I saw mics for all those shows. Guess I'm just spoiled by how fast all these other sets were available!
