Yeah, to me it seems like they've capture the best elements of their live show and their studio recordings and made a great album out of it. That said, I've heard a few of these songs live already and they DO still have A Ghost is Born Syndrome (meaning they're still a hell of a lot better in person), so don't miss their set if you're a little skeptical.
i love it. it is beautiful. i read an interview from jeff tweedy where he commented that the album was so different because he is sober now (that being compared to the ghost album)

It's ridiculously good. Has a timeless sound ala The Band to me. I haven't been able to take this out of my cd player long enough to listen to anything else since it came out.

I've listened to it multiple times and I just don't get it...... I have listened to their other music also and I just can't get into them. I don't know why....
