We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I'll be 37 weeks at Bonnaroo - I'm having a boy!
Does anyone know if pregnant women are welcome in family camping? The website says "families with children under 16 years." Well... not sure if my little guy counts!
If you would stop and notice that we number every day But allow the many moments left uncounted slip away You don't have to count them, just enjoy them one by one Then things would take a different hue and sparkle in the sun - Phish

FYI, got this message back from access@bonnaroo.com regarding being pregnant and parking in family camping:
"You and one companion may camp in the Family Camping area.Use exit 111 or 112. Tell them at the tollbooth that you want family camping."
Unfortunately, I'm camping with 4 other friends, so I wrote back to double check that she meant 1 other person, not 1 other car. I'm still considering asking at the booth if we can park in family, no matter what her reply is. You just never know what they will say.

I don't think we're going to find out this time. I think this will be our last so I want it to be a surprize.
We didn't have a choice with our first one. The first image that came up on the ultrasound was two legs and a penis. It was pretty funny because the tech looked kind of embarassed then looked at us and said, "Well... I hope you wanted to know because it's pretty obvious."
We're trying for a baby right now. I've been off birth control since Bonnaroo 2010, but we are really getting serious about it now. Mr. Pooka is finally able to talk about it without picturing his life in ruins and we're taking major steps. I'll be 29 in April this year so I hear every tick of the clock right now. I have a good feeling it will happen for us soon. In the meantime, the work is fun. ;-)
Anyway, if all goes well, I will be pregnant for Bonnaroo this year. Wish me luck!
Pregnancy just knocked most of my party out for this year so I am going solo if any of you ladies are in need of Grade A just hit me up but unlike Scrog I will respect you in the morning and even hold the tent flap for you as you get to the place where "the magic happens" Bonnaroo Cribs Edition

I take offense at this. Women have it much harder when it comes to reproducing. (Hey, you! Tiny angry feminist inside me! Get down! Get back down there!)
This year will be hubby and I's 3rd Bonnaroo but we might have bitten off more than we can chew. We will be bringing our then 3 yr. old daughter and I will be pregnant 32 weeks with a boy. We are camping VIP so I hope that helps with the proximity to centeroo and access to showers. We are good planners and attentive to our daughter's needs so I think we will be okay.

If you don't have a baby carrier (toddler really) check out the ergo for hubby to wear. It's a soft padded carrier and is perfect for those sleepy kids and keeping them close. Since you are having a boy I have to post www.nocirc.org or I'd feel guilty.

You can also bring a wagon for your 3yo. I've seen numerous people with them, and I would say that a carrier would be hot for parent and kid during the afternoon. Also, it'd probably be nicer whenever she conks out in the evening.

Congrats pregnant ladies and men. However when it turns 110 degrees and you feel miserable, please try to be nice to your fellow roo buddies.
It takes a lot of balls to come to bonnaroo pregnant and we will do everything we can to make your life easier, so please remember that and don't turn into a raging bitch if I eat the last of the animal crackers.
You would be surprised at how many people could care less if you're pregnant and are actually quite rude. There are also tons of people that do care. But it still is awful to run into someone who is a dick.
