how about the preservation jazz hall, the cinema tent, the brewers tent, or the vw garage. id say they were at little more chill then uhh.. the ferris wheel.
in the field between this tent and the other tent. near where the burning man art installation was last year. there were some big trees off the the right side of mike gordon and ricky skaggs on saturday that we sat in the ever moving shade of.
my buddy john decided that right by the trashcans by the portapottys in centerroo (behind the little shopping area, in front of the this tent) was a good spot, and we were halfway to the fountain before we noticed some people trying to get him to move to a tree. he was pretty faced
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

I had to vote for the bobble heads though... chilling out there, smoking, waiting to meet people, in the late afternoon while death cab for cutie played in the background was pretty sweet.

I forgot about the tiki bar.
Unfortunately, it has grown in notoriety with each year. :-P
Tiki bar has always been our favorite chill spot - unfortunately they moved it to a more open location and then of course it attracted all kinds of riff raff and scoundrels ;D
Anyone remember the Krewe of Roo meet up shelter in '05? I stopped by several times and often found someone from the Krewe to chat with, though I did find a couple rutting under a blanket on one visit...

I unfortunately didn't make it to any of the krewe of roo meet-ups since we were parked so far away, it didn't make the schedule. i never even got my packet, they sent it after, sans dvd! (grrr)
I liked chilling by the art installations and watching people trip out on stuff.
ha! i could do that for a living...especially when they pretend no one saw them...
last year, there were these "relaxation pod hammock things". dude, most intense nap of my life...i highly reccomend them...they were near the VW garage last year.

At night the picnic tables set up around the mushroom fountain. Man oh man the things I saw to this day I still am not sure happened. real chill spot great eye candy and the people were great. this one guy had a bird costume on and kept running around the fountain yellin cawww. Classic spot to chill and take it all in!!!
I gotta go with the trees in front of the theater and beside This Tent. Had my best rest of the whole weekend there.
Yep that's where we chilled out a few times. Good spot for a nap.
I guarded two dudes blanket there on Friday (or Saturday) afternoon for a while. Don't remember what show it was, but I sat with them for a while, and then chilled on their blanket alone while they went to get up close to whatever show it was. We even did some phone number swapping, I think, and met up later.

Yeah, where is the Cinema Tent on the list? Greatest sleep I got at Roo and when I woke up, there was a movie about Robert Randolph on that I had to watch. Oh, and the AC is on BLAST.

Could that have been you? That would be cool.
Wasn't me. I was with my teenage daughter and my boyfriend, and we didn't really talk to anyone, we just people watched

How exactly can a nap be intense?

trust me...when you're on call 24 hours/day for 10 days before, during, and after bonnaroo, sleep of any kind is intense. haha.

Chill? Honestly I don't think, other than sitting to hear a band, that we ever stopped moving all day. We were like hyperactive kids with ADD and a sugar buzz. Too much to see, too much to do, too many choices...
