No rain predicted whatsoever...I'd kinda welcome a little shower on Sunday, though, because if there's no rain at all that dust is gonna get kicked up. Nothing like last year (with the eternal drought from hell going on), but still not perfect. Then again, what is perfect?
Rain dosnt bother me.. when youve been on the back of a garbage truck going 35 to 45 mph from stop to stop in a down poor with lightning... a few little rain drops dont realy bother u lmao

I've been checking dryday every day now and so far - it looks good!!!!
The dry day forecast will not change so you don't have to check it every day.
I was checking it every day up until it showed all the days of Bonnaroo - I know it will not change now - but before - I was only seeing a day at a time - now all the days are viewable

Ahhh. Gotcha!
LOL - well at least now that you pointed that out - there will be no newbies checking dryday every day and thinking it might change
I'm beginning to wonder about that "Cooler than Normal" forecast. This is the 3rd day in a row that we've hit 90 at my house. Summer finally arrived fittingly on Memorial Day weekend.
Of course it's been pretty dry so the humidity is only 35% right now. This also allows the night temps to drop (55 last night at Smyrna Airport)
Here's the what the 15 day forecast says about the weather leading up to Roo. Look's hot.

Temps last year were in the low 90's but with low humidity due to the drought. Humidity will likely be higher this year.
Last year the avg temps for Roo were 92 and 59 with 46% avg humidity. Notice the lower night temps as the air cools quicker with less water in it.
The lows predicted at 71 this year suggest humidities above 65%. This could mean a few showers and warm, sticky nights (along with warmer, stickier days.)
Last year daytime humidity was about 35% This year humidity may be 50%+
Heat index at 92 Degrees and varying humidity are
30% H feels like 91 degrees 40% H feels like 92 degrees 50% H feels like 98 degrees 60% H feels like 105 degrees

i dont see anyone talking about a tornado. weve had some bad weather around here this summer - im more worried about that than rain or dust at this point.
You will likely see Bonnaroo tornadoes (dust devils) so stake your stuff down.
A real tornado is very unlikely but would be a tradegy.
uuuummmmmm..... yeah. The big white canopy at :17 was mine. Every time I see that video I'm amazed that no-one got hurt. Look at how it flips over and the legs DON'T fall out like missiles. There was nothing holding them in.....It landed in an emergency lane about 200' away. It was not staked down. You should see the size of the stakes and hammer I'm bringing this year!

haha, actually there has been a rumor going around where I live that Bonnaroo might get canceled because of tornadoes. I just tell everyone that it is BS

You know the video is absolutely hilarous....That tent flying around in circles....I was there that year in GA and I was in out tent sleeping when the wind picked up I was like what the hell is going on...lucky our tent was fine but across from us camped these people brought in a screened gazeebo that was pretty high tech, almost like a permanent structure with metal sides and they had a bar in it every night and sold drinks......well I got out of my tent and the wind picked up that gazeebo and dropped it right back down smashing it to pieces.....the roof come down and the sides.....the ironic thing was that the people were all sleeping under it and no one got hurt.......what sights to be seen

The sever weather season for the most part is over East of the Mississippi River... Sever tornadic storms are the result of cold fronts mashing into hot weather... The strong cold fronts from canada have for the most part come to an end so there should be no tornados... Now there is always a chance of a freak occurrence but the odds are very slim! Our major chance of rain would be the result of midday warming creating some pop up storms around the area... I hope the forecast works out because it looks great!

Also the jet stream is making a steady move north as we speak... the jet stream is responsible for our weather and as it moves north so do the storms... As of NOW the jet stream is parked way north of Tennessee as you can see squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_init_00.gif ...
Now it could easily make a shift before Roo North or South lets all hope for further north because thats what cause such awesome weather for Roo in 07... here is the Jet Stream from 07 virga.sfsu.edu/pub/jetstream/jetstream/big/0706/07061312_jetstream_anal.gif Notice how far north the Jet stream was..
The weather looks fantastic going into ROO. Although, that is a lot of nice days in a row, there has to be some rain. I just hope it is not our weekend!!
