Hi all! I am a nudist and was wandering if there is any open nudity at Bonnaroo? I don't mean sex, just being so hot it would be nice to be clothes free! I went to 2005 and did not see anyone nude. hope to hear from you all .

i saw a handful of naked people at Roo in '04, many of which were mostly covered in mud. No one really seemed to care... Personally, I was solicited by the body painting tent and they asked if I wanted to get painted for free, so saturday night i spent many many hours wandering around centeroo with my friends, topless and painted with this big glittery butterfly. It was pretty groovy, especially everyones chill attitude about it. I say, Go for it!

I have seen quite a few nude people at Bonnaroos past. And the body painting cannibus mentioned seems popular. Certainly not the majority, but you won't find a more tolerant environment...
Those bodypainting people are the closest thing to a sexual predator there is. I saw them trying to pay girls to kiss last year and them announcing a "titty contest".
Do waht you want but know that those people are just doing it for wierdo seeing a chick naked reasons.

I saw a handful of naked people last year - most were body painted. Like someone said before, this is a very tolerant environment, so if you want to be naked I don't think you should have any issues with it. I think majority of the people going to Roo are extremely open minded people.
Last year was my first 'Roo, and I didn't see a single naked person, or even a topless girl. In contrast to my experience at Woodstock '99 where there were a lot of naked people (myself included). I was actually quite surprised to not see anything of the sort last year, but was very happy to not see drunken guys yelling at girls to "show us your tits!"
I do remember seeing a picture on here of some wasted dude naked and painted red. And I seem to remember a story about him being taken out for it. Anyone else remember that???

i've seen alot of painted naked bodies, but also a lot of just topless girls
you'd probably be suprised by how little people mind. but on the flip side, you might have some security guards say something to you, and if there are people checking you before you get into centeroo, i'm not quite sure how they would act
I would just like to say that I personally am all for you gettin naked!! :-)
Seriously though, I agree with what everyone else has said.. I have seen a few topless gals and some painted bodies, and again, everyone is very tolerant, you should have no problemo!
The 2 naked people I saw seemed to have been under heavy influence so I couldnt tell you if it was for their personal comfort (one was covered in mud and being chased by security). However I talked to a couple that had said the day before they had no problem just strolling in the nude/topless because of the heat. If it is your thing, go right ahead.
I've see lots o naked folks. Men and women. Just remember if your naked up have to find a big stump in Centeroo and chill on it for a minute. It's the thing to do, or so I've noticed.

I saw a beautiful girl topless last year on sunday night that just topped off the best Roo ever. I would like to take the time and thank that young lady now. Thank you. That was the only nudity I saw last year as compared to 05 when I saw 5 or 6 ppl naked or topless. But I agree if your gonna get naked around a bunch of strangers Roo is the place. If I saw a pantless guy on the street Id prolly yell to put somethin over his nuts but at Roo I just end up thinkin how much cooler they must feel with the breezes being able to hit everywhere lol.
I want to go topless next year all the time. My boyfriend told me not to. He even said that I am not to wear my headscarf as a top this year like last year. He doesnt wan anyone to see my boobies but him...

I love that picture... except for the face that that guy looks like my very conservative friend Dreyson, which is weird.
Bet your conservative friend wouldnt walk around in public wearing a strap-on proudly. F*cking Neo-cons can't even see the beauty of the strap-on dildo.
I can completely understand your boyfriend not wanting anyone else to see his girls knockers, but I would expect him to get over that at some point. Even if theres some dude out there whos not seeing them, he's thinking about em'. Then we're getting into calling the thought police.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

I don't appreciate this comment.
Why? Its the truth. Most guys are walking penises. Wasnt meant to be offensive.
If you looked at my transcirpts for college you would see an exstensive list of sexism and feminism courses. Me being blunt on the subject doesnt mean anything.

It is true indeed. I tried to believe that some guys were different for many years, but it's just not reality. We have to learn to accept it and take full advantage of the fact that we have them

That is an excellent way of looking at it. Look, its unfortunate what happens to women in soceity. For centuries theyve been objectified and belittled. We're all brought up to believe men and women should be strictly held to certain roles.
People also find it easier to fall into a victims role. Women actually have the upper hand in many ways. Most guys think between their legs.
Alot of us guys can relate though, I know I can. Im about to go out and have some drinks with my friends. Im a 22 year old single male, and I can garuntee you this will be the most thought provoking conversation Ill have all night. Do you have any clue how nice it would be to sit down with a girl and not have every other word I hear be "like", and every single thought and word be focused inwardly. That would be nice. A Hendrix/Clapton Superjam would be too, but it aint gonna happen.

Probably a valid point. But still... no tube top? Thats like saying 'dont wear a bathing suit'
Its cool though.
Sounds like he's in love to me. Not that he can't love you in a tube top too, but I think it's sweet.
Yeah cluelessmom, he is. I like how you think. Thanks.
As to the whole sexism conversation. I know that thats how many guys think, but I do firmly believe that there are most definately some out there who are different. You can call it naieve if you like, I call it quite the opposite. Ive met a few of them, and the reason I did not appreciate what you said was not for my own benefit as a woman, but for theirs. I feel it wrong to lump people into a category as large as "everyone."
Sadly, the only naked person I saw last year was a guy hanging from the top of, I believe, This Tent on Thursday night. I can't even remember who was playing (a bit inebriated), but he climbed up the rafters and was hanging for a bit (completely naked) in front of the band while they were playing. He then managed to let go and fall about 50 feet to his demise. Anyone else lucky enough to catch this? I later heard that he was rushed to Vanderbilty hospital, but I think he turned out okay. Naked people are always welcome...

i plan on cutting a shirt up the day before i leave and just wearing that, but if the opportunity arises them im all down for being topless... if theres not a hord of guys staring at my chest then i should be fine. i mean when i feel confurtable or intoxicated enough i have no problem with nudity i think its a perfectly normal thing
iv been single for quite some time so i havent in a while
so yea i think my best friend is gunna paint me one night esp. if i get to spin my fire poi NAKED is the only way to be
