Early September... going for a 2 year associates in electrical engineering. After this, my plan is to either get a career after that (89% success rate for the program) while I continue for a master's, go back into music business school for a certificate (A&R work and sound engineering, specifically), or maybe even finally give wrestling school a shot.
Yeah, I'm hopeful and excited, but I just need an associates right now, so I can get the fuck out of food service.
I have considered going in to training @ CWA in South Carolina, I even met with Roger Gleaton (booker, promoter, trainer) to check out the facilities. However, this was 07 when I was 21, and my wanting to do something academically to have something to fall back on, along with being rubbed the wrong way by a rather rude and obviously dishonest Mr Gleaton, I decided against it. I've still got desire to do it, every one who knows me well has been suggesting it since HS. I'm athletic, I danced in high school, and I have allot of experience in stage performance (music, acting, show choir, etc), it always seemed like a natural fit.

Not a specific name, really, but I'd push for a nickname of "Flawless". The character would be a vain, chickenshit badguy who talks big, but has to resort to cheating to win.
However, when I lived in KY, my friends and I would do backyard stuf (not the stupid, violent stuff, we were relatively safe and more into the character part of it) I had a few names : "7", "Wild Thing" ( when I was really young), "Kabaal", and most recently in HS "Flawless" Sean Black. I think the last one has a decent ring to it. My real name is Ty Davis... doesn't sound like a wrestler, does it?

Well, here's something the world's truly been clamoring for
The term "Super-Group" can only describe the formation of two of the most creative and musical legendary bands of the past 30 years into the new band YOSO. Formed out of TOTO's brilliant vocalist Bobby Kimball and the creative force of YES members, Tony Kaye and Billy Sherwood, it does indeed equal the magic of YES with the voice of TOTO. However, YOSO is much more than a combination of two classic rock groups. YOSO has combined their musical talents to produce an album of new music, which comes together with a live CD which sees the band plays some of old and new classics. Their collective mission is to make the next decade one where YOSO's music will be held up alongside their classic rock backgrounds as a band as important as TOTO and YES.

Yeah, it was short... but it was free and it was AWESOME!
I really thought he'd come back out for one or two more, but with the band in town here, with a full show in Central Park tomorrow, today I guarantee he's been on a classic NYC promotional marathon blitz since dawn. I totally bet he wanted to come back out too as we all chanted "MULE", but his press agent was there scolding him backstage "yadayd-adayyadayayayadaWarren we gotta go NOW Warren." yankin' him out the door ...bet they've been goin' all day since that 1st radio interview this morning, probably even doing an interview for Brooklyn Vegan now as I type, hahaha.
The Dead did a secret show in the same secret spot last year (had never heard of it then) that was only 30 minutes long... followed by 4 other free secret shows in other places that day in a wild marathon.
There was no more than 300 people in that room tonight. So cool that I was one of them. I actually kinda felt like I was there to represent Inforoo! (I was even tempted to scream it out at one of the silent moments since they were filming But it was Warren's set, not mine.)
Hope anyone who saw it had even just a fraction of the pure rockin' fun I had tonight... followed by a yummy dinner and drinks
