Any suggestions on what should go on the back? I'm leaning towards "Do you Inforoo?" using the same font as the "Inforooster" on the front.
Either way, I'm going to print up one on Cafe Press just to see how it comes out. If I like it, I'll put them up for others to buy. There'd be no reason, I couldn't do all 3 of them. Both quotes, and one without a quote.
I dont know what it is but it just seems to roll off the tounge. Stupid question though...When is the lasy day to have submissions in by? aka when do we plan on trying to have these shirts ready for creation?

This is a fantastic idea! I need a flag anyway; this would be perfect! Is it possible to set this up similar to how you have a place to order shirts?
Not only would it be cool to wander around and identify inforoosters, but if some of us somehow meet up and set up camp by one another (most likely in VIP would be easiest) it would look cool to have a few flags all flying next to each other.

I don't know if there is an official thing or not. I was just bored the other day and started working on one.
The great thing about Cafe Press is, you just upload your graphics, and it doesn't matter if 1 person for 1,000 people order them. They just print them on demand. There's no reason we can't have many different shirts.
Hey Guys! Sorry I've been the stranger lately, just spent 7 weeks on a ship in the Pacific. About the flag; I don't know if I will be there this year (hope I am) but if I can't make it I'll try to get the baby flag to LIGuy beforehand so that he can fly the colors at Camp Inforoo. Not saying that another more "official" Inforoo flag wouldn't be cool too...
Jeff's quote sums it up well; I've got it on a bumper sticker (old school list-serve holla)... but I had a thought, should we try to make contact and ask him if he minds? Last I knew he was in law school. Wouldn't want him suing us or anything (not that I think he would)
I just looked for him on my Myspace friends, but he's either deleted his profile or removed me from his friends list. Is it better to ask forgiveness than permission?
Edit: I bet he wouldn't mind as long as the store is set up like the one from last year; meaning no profit involved from sales of items in the store.
I would totally buy a shirt! And a flag! I'm an excellent shopper. It would be great if both had a blank space where you could write your user name in with a sharpie or something.
Yes it would. Also allows for some artisitc work on part of the owner if they so choose. By the way, is there any type of website or anywhere besides cafepress that has other items besides t-shirts...namely a flag or so?

Exciting news; I got a response! The info I put on the form was for 10 flags to be 2 ft x 3 ft, double sided (so the design wouldn't be backwards on the reverse side) with two grommets. The price came back at $280 total. So there are options to make the flags nicer or cheaper than what I requested to be quoted - either way depending on your budget. But all in all they'd be approx. $30 to $35 each, or possibly as low as $20 each if you went the bargain-basement route. Shipping might increase the cost a bit since they won't be shipping all 10 together...
Side note/question. I imagine the answer is no, but do you think I could order a flag with the "official" Bonnaroo logo, since I imagine it is trademarked or copyrighted or something?
I really like the INFOROOST flag idea. That would be badass.
But, to be honest, I dont know how I feel about the shirts on the last few pages. Im really bad with computer art, so I cant do much to help, but I feel like it is too solid, too much color. Maybe without the oval? I dont know... thats just me.
You were the only one? I would so write my name in. Maybe we'd get more participation from Inforoosters since it is a more contained community. I'll pledge to put my name in at least. That's a cute shirt BTW.

I have been thinking about flags. I would really like to have a flag made of the 'roo logo to hang (possibly) beside my inforoo flag. however, I need a high resolution image to give the flag people and it can't be a .gif. How/where can I get a hi-res version of this:

been a while since I checked in on this thread. Great ideas coming together with some of you willing to put flags and shirt art together. I know last year I did not order my shirt from Cafe Express until like 45 days before roo and it came in plenty of time. Where ever shirts are available from - I like the idea of the logo from last year and personalized / tagged shirts.
Also, Jeff is on listserve and has given permission for his quote to be used - Reality is the condition caused by the absence of Bonnaroo. We actually also talked about glow in-in-the-dark stickers we could put in the porta-potties, etc. So, if anyone knows about glow in the dark stickers let me know.
(not that I think he would)
