hmm now this narrows down the ideas I have, and I know I can wear whatever I wish but to walk into MSG in a ballgown? GAH, I'd prefer the monkey suit or Banana outfit! hehehe

Thank God. It's looking as if my NYE run is gonna be DSO the 28th,RR & The Family Band th 30th and MMJ The 31st. Need that week to hurry up and get here. Now I just have that pesky holiday to contend with.

Ugh. I wish I could take those tickets from ya. I'm really not happy about where our seats are (and I got them the *second* they went on sale), but I can't imagine trying to unload mine *and* buying another pair.

also, there are reasonably priced "costume" tuxedos on the web (around the $50 mark). im thinking of getting a nice powder blue number.... only problem is my significant other is not cool with getting a bad bridesmaid dress.
Hey gang, I am giving a reminder about the NYE party . The deadline to reserve a spot is in two weeks from today on the 22nd. If I don't think I have enough people by that time (at least 20) then I may cancel the event. Right now though I have 9 people who have offically reserved. I will take payments by paypal, money order or check. Let me know if you have any other issues with payments by PM and I shall work with ya.
After a month of hit and missing, I finally was able to get ahold of the contract and sign off on it, so THE PARTY IS OFFICIAL!!! ;D
Here is the scoop. Apparently, they are not giving us three hours, but FOUR HOURS between 3-7 The price of admission is still $50 a person (it would come to $12.50 per hour) and it includes the following:
-Open bar for 4 hours which includes all beers on tap (25 beers on tap to be exact), 12 oz bottles, all well drinks, and first tier liquors. No cognacs and high end tequilas will be served. -Buffet will be open for four hours and will include Penne a La Vodka, Buffalo Wings, Quesadillas, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Fingers, Jalapeno Poppers, and salad. -Rockband and Guitar Hero will be available for your rockin pleasure on a big screen during the duration of the party.
You must be 21+ to enter and they will card at the door. The place is called Sunswick and is located at 35-02-25th St in Astoria Queens. In case you are lost , their phone number is 718-752-0602. From and to 34th St. is a 15 minute train ride and you can catch the R train to Steinway or the N or W to 36th Ave.
Payments will be made in advance and the deadline is the 22nd of December (a Monday) I will be taking payments by paypal or by check if you don't have a paypal account set up.
