Ghostland Observatory and MSTRKRFT threw it down this weekend. Made it up to 5 rows back for most of the Ghostland set. I must see these guys again and soon!
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

MSTRKRFT was sick...definately agree with MMJ...when it was pouring down rain and the water was just seeping of the top of the stage with the visuals = epic
favorite show was disco biscuits by far. only band on friday to play till sunrise i believe. they played for three hours straight without a set break. incredible. i also loved sigur ros, zappa plays zappa, and what little i saw of ghostland.
oh yeah, id never seen the disco biscuits before, but i caught most of their set and they definitely had me dancing til 5am. it was very very good! i think ill update my list.
I had a blast at all the shows I saw. Against me! was amazing I was in the pit (sprained my ankle which forced me to leave sun, but it was all worth it.
MIA was amazing. I think I have a crush so enjoyed it like a teenaged boy
Ghostland was amazing The racounters were amazing
K'Nann was probably one of my stumbled upon shows that I loved. Ended up watching the show from the Left side of the stage right next to the Djembe player! Amazing energy and crowd. Will talk more about it later
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
1. The Swell Season--you could feel every ounce of emotion in Glen's body. That was a religious experience 2. Plant & Krauss--I got a rail spot in the pit, and it was amazing to see them perform that close. 3. Sigur Ros--I would like to give a hearty F you to the lady who stole my rail spot after I had been waiting there for an hour. She tried to act like she was handicapped and going into the handicapped access spot. When I moved to let her by, she nabbed my spot! She refused to move even after explaining to her how long I've been waiting there. Whore. 4. My Morning Jacket--Another F you to the guy who jumped up on the rail when Kirk Hammett joined them on One Big Holiday totally blocking my view. You're lucky I didn't donkey punch you. 5. Gogol Bordello--Watched them in the back row of the bleachers in VIP and danced the ENTIRE TIME
