1. Broken Social Scene - Worked the crowd to a dancing frenzy. Good interactions, told us to "burn this tent down! CAP CAP!! *gun shooting motions*" and also made fun of Kanye. Really varied setlist.
2. Ben Folds - I'm not a big fan, but I went with my girlfriend and had a blast. He was very funny and energetic. It was a really unique experience.
3. Gogol Bordello - I was amazed how diverse of a crowd they attracted, and we were all hopping and shouting until the end of their very long encore.
VERY surprised at the lack of mentions of these first three.
4. Drive-By Truckers - Reminded me of Wilco last year. Started a little nervous and then gelled, getting more intense and you could tell they were having a good time. "Home Field Advantage" may have been my favorite moment of this year.
5. Metallica - It was a thrash fan's wet dream, really. The first half of the setlist was just amazing. I'm glad I left for the last part though, when they seemed to lose their edge. As everyone mentioned, they got the vibe and shocked a lot of people.
6. Two Gallants - Was just waiting for Against Me! (which was ruined by some VIOLENT moshers who were just trying to get up front, and not have any fun whatsoever) but these two young lads had some good tunes.
7. Aimee Mann - Waiting for BSS, but I was super pleased with this relaxing set. She was a treat.
8. Chris Rock - fairly funny, and a nice change of pace to relax before Metallica.
9. Sigur Ros - it seemed to be gaining momentum right as I was about to pass out from exhaustion. I was sorry to miss it, but I had to.
10. My Morning Jacket - I only saw up to Touch Me pt. 1, and enjoyed it. Could have ended up in the top three, but I had to go back to camp with my girlfriend
Really sad I missed the Swell Season, that looked to be a good one. M.I.A. as well.
Did none of you see Chromeo??? I thought their show would be silly, but we got there just before they started so we could get a great spot for Ghostland and were absolutely stunned. Those 2 goofy sons of bitches rock. Chromeo was the dance party of the weekend hands down!!!
I thought Chromeo was one of the funnest shows all weekend, I am still singing Bona Fide Lovin'. When they busted out with Don't Stop Believing, I think that was the loudest that I have ever heard a crowd sing.
1. Tiesto - only act I saw that actually had unexpected guests. 2. Robert Plant & Allison Kraus 3. Chromeo - best unexpected show of the weekend. Loved it. 4. Gogol Bordello 5. Lez Zepplin 6. MSTRKRFT
all of the others I saw were good, but these were my favs.

This is really tough but Ill give it a shot:
1. Pearl Jam (2nd Time I have seen them, and I thought it was a different band than the one I saw 4 yrs ago. EV was unbelievable) 2. Ben Folds - 12th or 13th time that 2nd best show Ive seen him do, but he always nails it 3. Metallica - One of my favorites bands and a great live show, unbelievable 4. MGMT - Great show great energy 5. Mason Jennings - Both sets were great 6. The Sword - Showed that they are the best young Metal band out there, completely rocked out 7. The Raconteurs - They really surprised, Pretty big WS fan but havent gotten into them a lot, but they were unbelievable 8. Against Me! - Not the best AM show that I have ever seen, but still amazing. 9. Yonder Mountain - They are just flat out fun. Crazy Train cover by a bluegrass band unbelievable 10. Avett Brothers - Unbelievable
I only made it to 2 comedy acts and Chris Rock:
Mike Birbiglia and Brian Pohsehn were great Jim Norton was OK, but i a had to leave early to catch Yonder Mountain. The opener for Bribiglia had a few good jokes, and the opener for Norton and Posehn was kind of annoying. I really just felt bad for Jeneane Garrofalo. You could tell she didn't prepare her performance at all. She also has a ridiculous elitist attitude that really turned me off. She dismisses anyone with views not her own as stupid or retarded (Reminded me of an annoying judgmental Christian evangelist except for the other side). Chris Rock was great, I really enjoyed him. I didn't know what to expect, but being able to entertain close to 50 to 60 thousand (guess) with just a mic is pretty amazing.
1. The Swell Season 2. Plant & Krauss 3. Gogol Bordello 4. Metallica 5. My Morning Jacket 6. Sigur Ros 7. Against Me! 8. Vampire Weekend 9. What Made Milwaukee Famous 10. Death Cab for Cutie
1. Pearl Jam 2. Gogol Bordello 3. The Raconteurs 4. Metallica 5. Robert Randolph's Revival 6. Stephen Marley 7. Iron & Wine 8. Death Cab For Cutie 9. Trucks & Tedeschi's Soul Stew Revival 10. Dark Star Orchestra
No Order: ----------------- Metallica Pearl Jam Les Claypool B.B King Jacob Dylan The Racontours Mastodon Umphree's Mcgee (Very surprised to not see this in more lists!) Robert Randolph's Revival Jack Johnson
1. Pearl Jam-Waited all day for front of the pit, ended up with a great spot and absolutely lived up to my expectations-amazing show, worth the wait for front 2. MMJ-close second, they blew me away. not many bands can warrant standing for 4 hours in the freezing rain 3. Raconteurs 4. Death Cab 5. Umphree's 6. Jack Johnson-was only able to hear him play from the fence, but much better and much more energetic than i was expecting 7. Yonder Mountain-wasn't expecting this to be as much fun as it was 8. Ghostland Observatory 9. Disco Biscuits-only was able to catch the end after MMJ, but still worthy of a top spot-so much fun 10. MGMT
