I watched most of it then left early to go wait for Kanyes disaster. The Sigur Ros show was awesome and got better and better as it went on, then I left early to sit around and miss every other late night act. Quack Kanye.
"I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fücking special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" -Radiohead
“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
I showed up for this show during Zappa plays Zappa and still didn't get front row. But it was totally worth it, met some cool people and chatted for 5 hours.
Would have to say best show of the festival, tied for the best show I've ever seen. Their new album translates incredibly well live. Gobbledigook blew my freaking mind.
It's kinda weird, I think I yawned more in that two hours than I have in any other 2 hour span in my life, yet it was one of the my favorite concert experiences.
When they were taking their first bow I nearly cried. and I've never cheered so hard for an encore.
I waited 4 hours to be in front for this show. Amazing, introspective performance. And, despite the early technical troubles, they won everyone over. One of my Roo highlights for sure.

Absolutely amazing show! I wasn't exactly in my own mind at the time of the show, but it was still an incredible show. I ended up wandering further back in the crowd so I could sit down in peace, too many people crowded around me and I got paranoid.

This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

By far my favorite show ever. I wish I had camped out near the front by myself, but I still ended up under the tent and had a great vantage point. I was definitely the happiest I've ever been in my entire life during the show.
I was there, but way in the back. AH-MAZING!!! I would have liked to have been closer but I'm sure it would have made me cry to be any closer. I got choked up as it was. My friends left me though because they didn't "understand it". I tried to tell them Sigur Ros' music is not to be understood, it's to be felt. Cheesiest line of the weekend.
Best show of the weekend, best show of my life! That was the most gorgeous music I have ever heard, Hafsol was the highlight of the show for me (excluding the insane applause at the end of the show!). Thanks to the majesty of youtube, I can relive it!!! I got close to the front, but decided to sit down in the middle of the standing crowd, and I had my eyes closed for nearly the entire show, the sound was really reverberating through my laced head. There was one very scary moment though, when I opened my eyes I saw a guy pass out and fall down right in front of me, so I stood up and helped carry him out. I hope he was okay afterward, he didn't look so hot. Anyway, when I got out of the tent, I realized that my wallet had fallen out of my pocket while I was sitting down inside!!! I felt like a dick buding back to my original spot, but by the grace of corncat I found my wallet and fell back in love with sigur ros! Thanks to everyone there for giving the band so much energy!
I waited like 2 hours to see them after leaving Pearl Jam after like 4 songs. My friend that I was with reallly wanted to see them so I just tagged along. We were pretty close up... I was really tired and my feet were killing me at the time...I thought they were awesome when I was watching them...but then I thought back on it and was like "THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!"
Got their early by skipping Pearl Jam. Decided to get a spot on the railing in front of the soundboard and wow was the sound perfect. This show ranks as one of my favourite shows ever. As good as seeing Rush and The Mars Volta for the first time.
