i love this movie! it's my new favorite pixar film. it was brilliant how they could create characters that emote so well and are so charismatic who only have a vocabulary of 4-5 words. see it if you haven't, if you have see it again.

Is it sad at all? I want to take my 5 yr old nephew, but Happy Feet didn't go so well in the beginning for him. He cried for just a minute, but told his mom (my sister in law) that Happy Feet made him sad. Forgot about all the fun we had before and after! Just ran to his mom and said auntie took me to see a sad movie! Kids!

if dancing penguins made him sad...the story of the last robot in a post-apocalyptic earth might not be the best choice of film.

Going to see this with my boyfriend in three days when I'm back in town! ;D
I saw Wanted though and I loved it. It was The Matrix meets Fight Club, at least visually. The plot was a little wonky but I felt like such a boy- didn't really give a shit because it was so fun to watch.
I really loved Wall-E but I would really like to hear a kid's take on it. The themes were pretty heavy & there were parts that I'm not sure would hold a kid's attention, but I don't know.
I LOVED Wall-E. It was a-dorable. My boyfriend actually harassed me the whole time, because I pretty much acted like a 7 year old . The message was great, too...it had a large appeal to kids and adults. And conservatives apparently hate the movie, which I find hilarious.
I read somewhere that older small kids like it but younger kids (roughly 5 or 6 and younger) weren't into it. A lot of parents saying that their kid wanted to leave 30 minutes into it. I would definitely not trust it to a kid under the age of six unless they take Ritalin or something.
I saw it at the drive-in (I miss that band...anywho...) opening weekend and I loved it! I was glad, too, because all of the families had to park in the back with their giant autos so we were surrounded by adult types. And I got to eat all the pizza and Hershey bars I wanted! I love the drive-in!
Saw Wall-E and loved it, right up through (and including) the credits. Also saw Wanted and agree with y'all: awesome action-packed fun with a plot that could've been better. A great time, though.

the movie has a great message, a REALLY great message, but i'm not gonna lie, i got bored. it's definitely more of an adult pixar movie than a kid movie, imo. it's a heady message that may fly right over kids' heads. but of course, little kids are just happy to be at the fucking movies, yo.
