*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I wish they'd not do that. I haven't seen my dad on Father's Day for the last 5 years thanks to Roo.
tell your dad if he was any kind of dad hed buy his ass a ticket and make it a point to see you on fathers day...
/has father issues... //tired of lookin at him... ///gets on my nerves... ////not cool with the headies at all /////drinks 3 bottles of wiskey and smokes three cartons of cigs a week tho.
Plus for the lucky few that can take their fathers/sons to the Roo with them it is the absolute perfect weekend I'm sure
I wish i could...I do have to say that is was really odd / difficult not to spend time w/ him on father's day...but he would never make it... I did make it a point to call a few times throughout sunday and take hime out before and after...so i guess it worked out better for him!
Luckily, my Dad is dead, so he doesn't interfere with my Roo activities. Wait, did I say luckily? I meant unfortunately. Dad would love the Roo! Man, that would be awesome if he could have been around for about ten more years. Damn you, cancer!
But, yeah, Father's Day weekend it is!

i really hope for some reason that they bump it back to the 18th. my college graduation falls during father's day weekend and i'm pretty sure that i shouldn't miss that.

Yeah, I think you should. I've never participated in a graduatation ceremony and I have no regrets, and I didn't even have to choose between graduation and B onnaroo.
And yes, I was qualified to participate in more than one ceremony. I watched my classmates graduate from the audience twice actually.
As a father, I'm going to have to say that Father's day is some hallmark holiday BS. EVERY DAY is Father's day (and Mother's day for that matter). Your father doesn't love you more or less depending on what holiday it is, and you shouldn't need a hallmark holiday to remember to tell your parents what they mean to you.
