i really hope this isnt a joke thread man. if its not, then i hope ur brunch is cool as hell and i hope i stumble upon it and u share with a hungry hetero guy haha
Realistically, I think a brunch would be more appropriate for Friday. It would be a lot easier to keep the food fresh, and it would also be a good way for some people to get to know each other early on.
I love the brunch idea-- more camps should organize something like that. Maybe Inforoo should have a big organized brunch on Friday morning?
And I don't know of any champagne that is bottled in plastic off-hand, but next time I'm at our local grocer, I'll check. They carry tons of inexpensive wines.

I'm not gay. I mean, I'll stick my finger up my ass every now and again when I'm feeling squirrely, but that's about the extent of it. Sorry, though of that when i saw this thread. But i have a feeling that there is a good sized gay population, in comparison to other events. Just because you didnt see a bunch of guys holding hands or being fabulous doesnt mean there arent a lot of gay guys, although obviously you know this. So do only the gay people get to go to the brunch?

well if you go and im there point out which dish you made ziggy so i can avoid it. and dont get that finger too close to me in the process of pointing ;D
but i was wondering that also. it should just be a brunch. humans are welcome. alot of different groups say they want to be treated no differently. and yet they segregate themselves into a caucus, college funds, parades, pride weeks, bonnaroo brunchs, etc... it just seems counter productive.

Agreed^. I'm fine with it all, and support the parades and stuff, because everyone can participate, but when i see events and other things that are gays only, or african americans only, i just have to chuckle to myself. I understand that people feel proud and comfortable with "their own people" but its pretty much the thing they are fighting against. Oh well, I think those people ARE treated differently, some things bad, some things unfairly good (college funds etc), so i could understand why they do such things. But they are are still identifying themselves as "theys", and not just "us", and kind of perpetuating the seperation. I'm probably gonna catch some flak for this post.

Its an unfortunate truth^, but i dont see it ever changing. There will always be uncertainty about people different then yourself, its human nature. Not to say that racism and discrimination wont decrease, just that it will never disappear.
That is such a sterotype. Gays at the late night disco . . . come on
Anyway, i am a gay, but you probably thought i was straight if you seen me at bonnaroo. i need a shirt, that says 'not my girlfriend', with like 4 arrows pointing off it. . . lol
I always wondered bout the gays population at Bonnaroo, but there is no way to tell. My present BF was at Bonnaroo lastyear, and we didnt even know each other.
Dude, I'm not making prejudiced, negative, stereotypical assumptions about what activities gay people like to engage in. I have just noticed, after five Bonnaroos, that if one were to go to the Arcade Disco at night you'll find a higher concentration of gay people than elsewhere in the festival.
it's cool mikede. That wasn't all that stereotypical. It actually seemed like solid advice, and it did seem like maybe you didn't know about the arcade? Gays usually know where the party is at, and are usually really easy to get along with, and most would even give up shirt from their own back. I doubt i will stumble into the arcade or anything, but it would be fun to hang out with some mo's for a bit, hoist somethin up and feed off their vibes, which, from my experience, is usually never without a smile or some sort of uplifing possitive attitude.
Straight, but i wanted to stop by this thread for uh big, "hayyyy!"

My gaydar is in good working order.
I meant no offense whatsoever in my post.
Well i shall keep that in mind, thank you. Initially it seemed like you were making a sterotypical assumption.
