unpaid in NYC... hopefully you're well-supported or have family in the area, otherwise maybe line up something on the side beforehand? I'm not telling you what to do, but I have more than one friend who was working at Lehman's 6 months ago and is now a barrista at Starbucks (not that there's anything wrong with that...), unemployed, or has had to leave the city.
That said, good luck +1 Sounds like an awesome time. And despite the economic situation NYC is one of my favorite places ever.
Yea, good luck finding a place to stay at in New York. If you're really interested, your best bet is to find a place just over in New Jersey and then commute everyday.
See there's the contentiousness again. Of course it was filled and then if it's like any other internship probably vacated and filled 3-6 times since then. You really should consider not being such a douche in every single thread. Let me guess you'll stop being an ass tonight at 3 AM eastern.

When did I stomp on your foot and kick your dog asshole? 99% of what I say on here is not contentious and this was meant as a joke, albeit not an especially funny one.

I disagree. Fortunately for you I don't have the time to fact check this

Ohhh I survived a Bacon fact checking, there are not words to describe how fortunate I feel. I will say however that on the whole as it pertains to real life I count 30-40 people on here as good friends and people I interact with in a non internet environment, so far they do not tend to complain about how contentious I am. Unless you consider disagreeing with people about music in which case you are 100% right but there is no way to correct for that unless other peoples tastes change or mine do...
Ya I've met some of these people and know several others who have met you in passing and the general consensus seems to be "he is a great guy in real life I don't understand why he is such a dick on the internet". It's not about disagreeing with music tastes its doing it in a way that insults, belittles, or offends them that makes you contentious.

But yet no one says this to my face, don't worry though I will take your criticism with same sized grain of salt in which it was given.

Nah not a hater, people who take them selves too seriously are annoying (espc on the internet) and should be messed with until they realize they are on the same level as everyone else
actually jess, i kind of agree with bacon. you've been pretty argumentative in threads lately (my example would be the coachella thread, it was simply pointless for you to go in there and say the things you did).
i met you at the brunch last year (don't know if you remember) and you were nice for sure. to be honest, i don't even remember you being this hostile on inforoo till lately. seems like your demeanor on here has changed a little bit.
sorry to poster up there asking, we've derailed your question. i think you should apply for the internship just to see what happens. maybe you can influence the lineup! hahaha

If my demeanor has changed like I said I will try to dial it back a bit, however anyone who knows me can tell you I always tend to say what I mean. If you look at the first post I made in the Coachella thread there was no animosity in it, just making what I thought were some valid points. Maybe I should back off, but on the other hand constant dismissals, and one two word reply's of "you're wrong" piss me off and always have. Like I said I will look at myself but I feel the board and some of our members are bringing out the worst in me as well.

Haha I will apply in December. But yeah it's an internship there are new positions every season.
I don't know about Cold War Kids or Amos Lee, but Bruce Hornsby and Daniel Lanois are like 100 times bigger than Robyn. Never even heard of her until the lineup came out.
