Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
^^at the Inforoo New Year's party, someone had a video camera (maybe the Kentucky crew? I forget, I was kind of buzzed by that point) and they were interviewing people about the top five shows they'd ever seen. Porcupine Tree at Nokia Theater, circa October 2006, was somewhere on there. Quacking epic performance, and nothing is better than going from not knowing a damn thing about them but going just because a friend invited me, to them being one of my favorite bands.
Sex Pistols are my number one wish but I don't see it happening anytime soon. And I know it's highly implausible, but I would love to see a Minor Threat reunion. Or maybe a Maynard late night, with him doing Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer songs.
Those guys have been offered some pretty high priced gigs/tours, but they'll never accept them. Scott Reeder says he'd play with Kyuss again, "just for the free beer", but I don't think Josh Homme and John Garcia are too high on the idea. They really want to protect Kyuss' legacy as one of the most badass underground bands ever.
'tis too bad, as I would do anything to see a Kyuss show. The closest they've come to a reunion is John Garcia joining Queens on stage a few years back in LA. I have a bootleg if anyone is interested.
I love that I'm seeing Kyuss on the board. It will never happen, but Kyuss is at the very top of a short list of bands I would do anything to see live
Enter Shikari would be a good choice and they have played many festivals in England as well as Cochella last year
Enter Shikari isn't really heavy anymore...they completely changed their sound around on their new songs to try and become as big in the states as they are in england. Don't get me wrong I'm still excited to see them at Bamboozle, but I don't think I'd like them at Bonnaroo.
if there is any combination of bands that can get me to make up my mind and go to Bonnaroo...its Opeth and The Mars Volta.
God. If Opeth and The Mars Volta are at Roo I might have to go and skip Wakarusa. The only thing more irrational than skipping a festival an hour down the road is skipping the next closest one that has those two bands on the bill.
NO RATM, PLEASE! Bonnaroo is a peaceful, happy place. There is no place for the moshing numbnuts who refer to themselves as Rage fans. Its a disaster waiting to happen.

Isis' new CD is coming out May 5th...which means they will be touring to promote it...which means there's a greater chance of them being at the 'Roo...which makes me extremely happy.
Oh and if you live around the MA area...there's a ridiculous metal fest...The New England Metal and Hardcore Fest...check it out it looks incredible.

Yeah, Coheed is not my bag, since they would require a little bigger spot i'd prefer them to give that to someone else. Mastodon to Coheed seems like a big regression to me.
