I've just been listening to the free mp3's for the reunion concert and they sound great. You can really tell that they are happy to be back doing what they love. Both of the nights that I've heard the band sound really clean and together, they are far from where they left us in 04. Can't wait to see the guys in Knoxville and at Roo.

The following are your Phantasy Phish Daily Dose picks for 03/08/09 Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA
10: Wilson 9: Down With Disease 8: Bathtub Gin 7: Also Sprach Zarathustra 6: Scent of a Mule 5: AC/DC Bag 4: Foam 3: Slave to the Traffic Light 2: 46 Days 1: Twist
I first saw Phish in 94, IMO this at least so far is best they have sounded since 97-98. It is so good it should be illegal!
So far Jess I have to agree. I have only heard set one night one (please don't tell me about the rest I am getting there ) . My first show was in '88, I didn't know who they were, taken to a bar, Nectar's, by a friend. The funk of 94-96 as we all know was the poop you stepped in during a great era Jess. Trey certainly sounds healthier then the last few years no question, you can hear his age in his voice but it sounds ok. Not hitting a lot of those notes like he used to be able to ..funny he's drawing out some letters in a bunch of words in Suzy like maaaaaachine, heeeeeer, soicioloooooooooogist holding it just a bit longer than usual if I didn't know any better I'd think he was hitting the junk again (just kidding it seems on purpose, mostly). the playing is solid all around I am excited.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
Already have nights one and two loaded on the jump for the commute, so I'll probably hold off until tomorrow night for this one. Motherfuc*er, another incredible night. These setlists are deep, deep, deep! Love it.
I'm looking forward to hearing that Reba from last night again. For whatever reason, that hit me perfectly.
