is it just me or are Kuroda's lights looking better than they ever have?
when watching the pixelated iphone stream last night the only thing I could make out were the crazy looking lights and all I thought was "i'll be seeing that next week". The hampton vids made the lights look awesome too.
I liked in the interview he gave (someone posted it on here) he says how they try to make a smaller amount of lights SEEM like a ton. a lot of work must go into these lights.
just came back down to earth after last night. it was unbelievable. i brought a friend who had only heard phish in passing and was more into like electronic music, but he was blown away.

That video I posted was 1 of 4. He gives some interesting insight into how he plans his lighting. I posted the video because he talks about the possibility of having screens with trippy images and I felt that might relate to the 3D rumors.

cities is a talking heads cover.
i dont think any off the other 3 are on an album..
Driver is on the Japanese version of Farmhouse(and on Hampton Comes Alive). The others as far as I know havent ever been on a studio album. Simple is on A Live One, Cities is on Slip Stitch and Pass(love that disc), Timber is on Colorado '88(Cities is on that one as well). Thats all I know of.

It's so hard to get to know all these phish songs when they keep so many off of albums lol. Thanks guys....i've heard some of them live but just wasn't sure if they were on any studio albums that I might not own. I like hearing the song first and then the live, jam later to compare.....but oh well. any songs they play will be great.
^I'd say if you just keep listening to the sbd's of the current tour that you should be well versed by the time 'roo comes around. Especially because it seems like they are playing a few new songs each night so far.

That's been my plan. I've got a bunch of studio albums and a few live ones - but i've been listening hardcore to the hampton 3 nights and now the fenway show. I know a good amount of phish but could always learn more. I'm excited to make my first time catching the band special.
