I suppose any of them that looks like they will eventually get in could be our answer. There's a LOT of room for speculation even amongst the 2007 class alone: Beastie Boys, Don Henley, George Clinton, Robert Plant, Sonic Youth, Sting, Violent Femmes, Wham (kidding).
Without more direction I think that this is a dead end.

That's why I'm wondering if it IS one of the current year's inductees.....He emphasised "bound"....
Are we absolutely sure it was none of the 2009 inductees (Run DMC or Jeff Beck)?....I'm not convinced we'd get a definite acknowledgement either way......
They could be. They are still on their way into the Hall although they have been elected. It's just such a vague clue to pursue like this because there are hundreds of elligible artsists.
It doesn't sound like it would be a 2009 inductee because the clue says "NOT Rockville bound" and I would say that those guys are already bound for the HOF.

The clue said "Not Rockville bound, but near there....". I take that to mean they are bound for a place NEAR Rockville. The "bound" I take as definite, it's the Rockville that I think is the variable.
That's the only way I read it that leads to the RRHOF.

Jinx! Glad you're thinking the same way I am, mkultra.
Edit: And enabler, too, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I posted it in the other thread a little while ago but everyone seems hung up on the HOF thing.

Radio Bonnaroo plays artists who have played Roo or another AC festival plus whatever the people in charge like. The songs you hear are pretty meaningless.

Not sure if anybody saw this but I think the answer is Beastie Boys. Here's why:
They're not rockville bound and they play something slightly off rock n roll... and one of the clues will be for the guys = boys = Beastie Boys. And they are rumored.

Heyyy now you made it look like I was talking to myself! hahaha
And new tweet: My instinct sez: 6 only partially solve-able. Until Thursday or Friday. And possibly by only one person, at first.
Edit: I'm wondering if that person is jess, since he was supposedly investigating the BBQ trail...DJ JD also said 6 was partially analog, so I have no idea how that will work, but it could be that only one person can get that part of it...
this whole clue comes down to where rockville is, so 2 thoughts on clue #4:
Cleveland- if you assume cleveland im thinking akron/family or at least a band related to akron. it's the closest city to cleveland, and it is home of goodyear tires, for the "where it rocks and rolls" part.
memphis- could be cheech and chong, because they are playing tunica, ms (very near memphis) in feb. at a casino. "rocks and rolls" could then be references to dice perhaps

OH MAN. I think you've got it with Cleveland. Rocks - Rock n Roll hall of fame. Rolls - Goodyear tires. Karma!
