Not unusual, but the gyro place that's pretty much right across from the main entrance gate to Centeroo is incredible. The lady working (who was the same one at all hours...incredible) recognized me after going there all the time for two years straight.
Besides that, there's some interesting stuff being sold by people in backpacks and carrying baskets...very interesting stuff....
I bought a homemade candle with the scent of my favorite incense. Not exactly unusual, but since a girl was having her boobs painted in the vendor's tent while I was there, I for some reason had a very hard time making up my mind and had to smell several of them multiple times. I miss that girl.

Last year I really wanted to buy one of those giant orange matts. Does anyone know what I am talking about or what they are called. I remember they were selling them close to the vendor selling the guitar jewelry. Now it seems like a ridiculous waste if money but everything seems better on the farm.

Hah! I spent a little time in that tent too sniffing candles. Painted boobs are magical.

My first Bonnaroo, I saw a guy selling wet paper towels. I had no idea why people were buying them until someone clued me in that he was really selling no no words.

Me and my buddy was in the back for Radiohead, and there was two girls beside us there where messed up to say the least. They had a pair of glasses, and told me to put them on. They looked like 3-D glasses. They made all the lights in the crowd and on the stage really pop, like turned them in to stars and shapes. We were sober too.
She said she bought them that day, we asked her where...but she didn't know what state she was in.

Wait, there are glasses that can reduce reality into three dimensions?

created an account to reply to this. i wanted one of these all weekend. kept making my friends walk through that area so we could stand on them because my feet hurt. broke down after fun on sunday and bought one of them. sat on it for like 10 glorious minutes for phish and then when it started raining we decided to head back to camp. lugging that thing back to camp was terrible. we were out in bfe by the bushy branch entrance. slept on it that night and it was again great. it's been in my basement ever since. never used. waiting.

Are you excited that your brother is up for the TIN award?

^^this. Saw them first at the DMB caravan and EVERYONE had one. The main stage there was on concrete and when my neighbors shared with us it was a lifesaver. Much easier on the legs and feet then standing on a hard surface. Not sure I would want one at Roo but for the caravan I wouldve dropped the money on one.

This reminds me of the blanket we used to sit/stand/lay on all weekend. It served its noble purpose well, but on the way home, we noticed an unseemly odor reeking from the back seat. For some reason, having our unwashed, sweaty feet (and asses) pressed against it for the better part of a week apparently left its mark.

I think they were called Space Mats or Moon Mats, I can't exactly remember except that they were so damn comfy
