That is just a rumor for now. There has been no confirmation. The FM tuner makes me highly suspect. People have been asking for them on an iPod since they came out. I doubt Apple is going to give it to them now.

yeah, the specs were rumors that hit yesterday... however many signs point to a new iphone/s in june, including some internal tips...
IF it was released, it would be in July... The announcement of a new one is rumored to be in June.
There are many signs for it happening... Apple buying a TON of new high end processors, websites reporting internet tracking hits from an iPhone2,1 (different code then iPhones currently available), as well as the simple concept that they release a new model of all their stuff (iPods, CPUs, etc) every year religously.
BUT I don't think it's going to happen because they have a contract with AT&T to release 3 models over the 5 year contract... Also the 3.0 software upgrade is a HUGE thing already. My biggest reason why it won't come out is that there has been no vacation blackout at At&T. The past two years they have released a new model, we have recieved notices of vacation blackouts that blanket the release plus about a month after.

There will be an upgraded iPhone in late June or early July. It won't be a huge improvement over the iPhone 3G, nor was the iPhone 3G a huge improvement over its predecessor (the original iPhone).

There's an FM tuner on my car, and?.... comparing apples to oranges doesn't really add up. Also, who actually bought a zune?

I just saw on there twitter page that the app will be coming out a week before Roo! Google Search Bonnaroo App, its the 3rd page down. Cant wait to check it out

I had one and loved it... have a touch now. Apples to oranges? Mp3 to Mp3 sounds like apples to apples to me.
I'm just saying that the fact that the 1st gen Zune had an FM tuner has no bearing on whether or not the 3rd gen iPhone will have one. Apple has been under pressure for so long for an FM tuner and they haven't caved. I doubt it will happen. Especially with the emergence of internet radio.

I think the rumor is an FM Transmitter, not an FM Tuner... A transmitter would be useful, tuner would be pointless...
My company is in iphone app dev, we have been discussing a app for bonnaroo for awhile, we do have a very cool platform coming out soon that is geared toward the music industry.. but cant get into details quite yet (... as for broo... the issue will always be signal on the site is too weak.
Just wanted to point out that it is all but confirmed that there will be a new iPhone. The Palm Pre is being released on June 6th, and Apple is planning on a release as well to compete with it. Apple's annual World Wide Developers Conference is on June 9, which is where the last 2 iPhone models were revealed. You can assume with 95% certainty there will be a new iPhone revealed on June 9th. (they have a history of making some products available immediately as well, although I don't think that was the case with the iPhone) If I'm wrong feel free to smite.
