Guster would be sick. I saw them at the Ryman in Nashville and it was acceptional. Hear their previous Bonnaroo show was subpar but that was YEARS ago and i believe they had an early/ middle of the day short set
Dude was that the show at the Ryman where Ray Lamontagne opened up for them? I was at the show, I went under the impression they were opening up for Ray. I showed up just as Ray was going on. I gave my ticket away to some dude after the Ray set and wandered off to enjoy the bar scene of Nashville aftwards.
Yea man it was. haha Ray Lamontagne walked off the stage early because there were some drunk frat guys that wouldnt shut the f up during his set. i was so furious. so were some others and a few people went after them and act. got them kicked out before Guster's set began. But Guster rocked it and that was the only time ive seen them. They were a late addition in 04....mabey the same can happen this year.

So, King Khan and the Shrines will be back in the country a few weeks before Bonnaroo, at Sasquatch, and I am really thinking they need to stay around and do another small tour that ends with a show on the farm.

Small world. That was the show I was at as I recall at the end of his set he was trying to play Burn stopped and said "Some fuck in the audience thinks the blues are funny.....wouldn't you be better off at home drinking beer waiting for your kids to get old enough to rape.....". I was wasted at the time and in the back and cheering my ass off at that point because whoever that was towards the front had been obnoxious the entire time.
Yes! My friends and I were just talking about this. Circa puts on such a good show, I've seen them about 12 times. And I'd love to see another solo Anthony Green show. I actually got up on stage and sang Dear Child with him at his show in Detroit.
And Circa does have a new album coming out this year. Probably not before 'roo but still.
please add the dead...the third headliner spot has them written all over it!
Except the third headliner spot is already filled by the Beastie Boys.
I just dont know how 2 dudes and a mc are going to entertain 80,000 people. I Love there music but idk i never seen them live do they have some kind of back up band or something?

Well Kanye is just one man, and he was supposed to entertain a fair amount of people... but he sucked that day's dick too hard. So I don't see why the beastie boys, who were nominated to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, wouldn't be able to.

I was talking with the guys from Blitzen Trapper last night, they say that they will not be a Bonnaroo, despite an offer, because their bassist is getting married over the Bonnaroo weekend.
i dont see them shutting everything else down for beastie they are great but i think they will announce a 3rd headliner
I really don't understand why so many people a think a headliner will be added to replace the Beastie Boys. They are the headliner now and they will be the headliner in June. I would bet money on it.

i think they will be a headliner. but i also thought that Jack Johnson was gonna be a headliner last year. so you never know. i would not be surprised if bonnaroo had something big up their sleaves, whether or not thats a headliner im not sure.
