Dave Grisman for sure. Toubab Krewe is a lot of fun. Rodrigo y Gabriela Femi Kuti & the Positive Force & Del McCoury Band are 3 more extremely solid one's but not really all "sleepers".
I am defining Sleeper as not in the Top 15 or so band range as far as Top Billing, NOT OPINION, that will play an amazing show that you will prolly be able to get a good spot for, as these shows will not be as crowded as the "Big Dogs".
delta spirit certainly brings it live, for all those that mentioned them and/or those who haven't seen em live yet. saw em open for dr. dog in october in boston, and they were extremely energetic.
This man speaks the truth. Saw them on the same tour in Baltimore. They showed up Dr Dog with maybe 10 people in the audience ever having heard their stuff before.
Glad to see they got some college radio airplay this past year, if their show is anything like the one I saw in Baltimore, people will be talking about them all weekend.
They were certainly one of the cherries on top of my deluxe roo lineup sundae.
Yea Delta Spirit is a great sleeper act. Its not often you see an opener for a band and actually enjoy the opener just as much as the main act. Well Delta Spirit is definitely that band. I also think Andrew Bird would be a sleeper hit as well but his live material is just to slow for most people to care I think, especially at a festival. I know I will love his set despite the others that will most likely just be standing there.

^I agree with Delta Spirit. Saw them a few months ago as an opening act and had no idea who they were. I was BLOWN AWAY. Very easily one of the funnest shows I've been to here recently.

I'm putting my money on Down, and Coheed. Two bands that most will just brush off as meh, especially Coheed. But, lemme tell you Coheed is amazing live, and never disappoint. Also, I would fully expect to see a Warren Haynes appearance during that Coheed set.
Also, I think the Yeah Yeah Yeah's are going to surprise a LOT of people who've never heard them before.
I also vote the Delta Spirit knocking it out of the park (saw them at an instore at Grimey's in Nashville a month or so back and totally dug it, first time listening, too).
Okkervil River should hopefully be amazing, seeing as they're my favorite band going right now, just wondering what they're going to play
and i'll jump on the yeasayer bandwagon, too. have a few of their tracks, wouldn't normally be my thing, but something about them gets me...
