I've recently had some awful experiences with the local waffle house... Aka "the awful waffle" I doubt I'll be going back there. But my my do they have good chocolate chip waffles. Yum.
funny - our last trip to the awful waffle was less than stellar - and it was one of the drunk 2am trips where it shouldn't have mattered
The last time we went the lady making/ serving our food was just downright unsanitary. When we first got there I went to the restroom to wash up and whatnot and she went in behind me. Never once did she wash her hands after that and continued to stir eggs with her hands, drop bread on the floor and pick it back up and use it, make a sandwich on top of a cut board with raw eggs on it, stir eggs with her hands again and then pick some unknown substance out of hashbrowns with her egg covered fingers.... it was by far the worst awful waffle experience I've ever had. Sadly enough, it's Denny's for us from now on.
