^^ What I don't get is why/how they were taking cash from people? If concert goers were selling drugs, the cops were just able to take all of their cash as well?
I know here in Mississippi, if you get busted with a large amount of illegal substances and they arrest you for possession with intent to distribute - then they also confiscate any cash you have on you and deem it proceeds from sales

So the 9 hour drive to Charleston wv and the 6 hour to hampton down….not so bad, until we were about 20 min for Hampton. Pulled over because of things hanging from rearview mirror. Took some NICE CORN and a nice new spoon. Amy got a citation, but he never gave her, her report. Hmmm. But anyway, we get there; I lucked out for 1 ticket for all three nights. Amy had none. So I went in Friday night and traded my Saturday to get her a Sunday making her a happy girl. Well the people I traded with, had 2 Fridays a sat and 2 Sundays but couldn’t make it Sunday so they just traded me both, making there weekend by getting to go together Friday and Saturday. so here I am on Sunday afternoon I have my loto ticket Amy got her traded ticket…what do I do with this other one I think….oh hey look. There a couple over there in search of a ticket… why don’t you have you’re a ticket for today. My boyfriend was supposed to buy a ticket today but the guy backed out… well here I have this extra, take it, no I don’t want any money its a miracle…well if you insist Ill take that funky smelling cigarette, but nothing else. But the guy did give Amy the shirt off his back, saying “ROOKIE” perfect for it being her first show…and my second. But the 15 hour non stop back home was brutal…but the drive and the cop were totally worth the weekend and happiness spent.

i went to check out the line when i first got to the lot of saturday around 2:30. saw russell bennett walking around the fountain taking some shots of his work. i said "you did a great job on the art" or something like that. he seemed genuinely pleased and thanked me. that made me feel good.

Here's my pics from Spunday with Phish. Again, I can't stress enough how incredible this whole weekend was. Nasty beats from Orchard Lounge and EOTO on Friday, Phish lot on Saturday, and inside the Coliseum on Sunday. I didn't get to hang with Brownie like Becs on Saturday, but I did see the back of his head the next day and also got to pee next to Matisyahu before the show This was the greatest show I have ever seen, without a doubt.
