Question for our parking gurus: do they fill Camp Roger Murdock with late arriving RVs? My friends are getting in 5am-ish Friday morning and that seems the most likely place for them to get stashed.
Let me revise what I said earlier. They were actually filling top to bottom when we pulled in last year, but that may have just been how they were filling our specific camp block.

We pulled in around 4 pm Thursday last year and were in the bottom left corner of Camp Zed, and it seemed like most of the other RV camps around us were full. Not that it matters much, just curious.
They have updated the ipad app too. It has a map now with all the other stuff the phone app has. Just update via app store. It is awesome!
Not any different for me. I tried deleting it and reinstalling too and nothing has changes. The update app option within the app isn't doing anything for me either.

Hmm Odd. Mine changed after I updated thru the app store.

Update App in the app itself doesn't work for this one for some reason. Go to the App Store on iphone, search for updates and there should be a 6/8 update available. That will add the map, a Discover artists function, and change the home page to have a big AT&T looking ball on it.

Wheaton that's what I ended u p doing. Weird that it doesn't automatically update to the most recent app even if you delete it. I'm all set now.
Is "The CROO" volunteers? I've never noticed that on the map before.
Yup. Us volunteers are called the "C'roo". There are Festival Croo and also Clean Vibes Croo. They mainly camp by POD 1 but those of us doing toll booths and parking are up by the West Tollbooths.

Cool. That's what I assumed, but I hadn't seen it annotated on the map before. Thanks.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to avoid the highway toll booth and get to the less busy ones if I'm coming in from the highway? (specifically, where to get off, and where to go)

Try these two threads: bonnaroo.proboards.com/thread/19022 inforoo.com/thread/25315/arriving-roo-ga-comprehensive-guide My advice if that's what you want to do: get off the interstate a few exits early and take the local roads or state highways in. Going by way of Nashville I know that getting off of I-24 at exits 97 or 105 is doable. Then you just follow routes 2/41 right into Manchester. Coming from the South I'm less sure about, but you could probably do pretty much the same thing. And of course not arriving at peak times always helps.
Check out Google Maps, or use GPS if you want to avoid the makeshift interstate exit or the other Manchester exits. I've done that three times after vowing never to be stuck in the 8-hour traffic debacle that was 2010. Plus I get into town early to patronize a local restaurant, stores, etc.

Anyone know if the map on the iPhone or Android app is from 2013 or for 2014? From the link we saved above, it's just slightly different in the shape of day parking and whatnot, but not much different, I think. I don't know if that's the 2013 mobile app map or if it's new.

Pretty sure it's from 2013. They don't update until a few days before roo.

Gives the terrorists less time to study up.
lol yeah. I had a feeling it was 2013 but wanted to make sure. Thanks!
