Jack Johnson gave me that feeling last year, maybe just because he had the slot where in that hour and a half it went from light out to darkness, and I was just realizing I was in the middle of the best weekend of my life. Then MSTRKRFT just completely shut it down later that night and was hands down the highlight of my weekend.
I think Jack Johnson is the last artist that comes to mind when I think of face melting. But hey, if he does it for you then awesome.

It was just the vibe I had going on at the time. He wasn't rocking out banging around or anything because that's not his style, but it was just a "wow" moment. Could have helped that I always drive around listening to him to chill out and was also on a date with Lucy at the time....
I've been calling #4 the Jelly Doughnut! Shit, I look like an idiot now
upon further research, Urban Dictionary defines the Jelly Doughnut as
"Before you ejaculate during intercourse, pull out and shoot your load in a circlular motion around your parters face (simulating the glaze). Then you crack them full fisted in the nose so it gushes blood. (Simulating the jelly)"

Disco Biscuits just a few weeks ago in Knoxville! Sheer Mind Blowing Les Claypool 08.. I had just hit my peak after some great reggae w/ Stephen Marley and then Claypool just changed my persona on life... Almost scared me!

I was there! STS9 at the Tennessee theatre too!
However, my top face melting experience goes to Rodrigo y Gabriela Roo 07. That was less of a face melting and more of a transmutation into werewolf mode. Thinking of that night still gives me chills.

Yeah it certainly wasn't anything I anticipated. The circumstances were pretty good though, what with being on a date with Molly and sitting in the 2nd row. But I'd like to think the same thing would have happened without Molly.
Just watching the youtube video of it take me right back to how I was feeling...

When time, space and music become one dimension, obliterating any walls that you've put up. The opposite of a clear mind but rather a growing gamma ray burst of imagination and awe. Everything and anything ever experienced in the unvierse condensed in a song. for me it's Weird Al Yankovich

Your " face has melted " shortly after you have injested an adult fun time material . Don't worry you will be ok , how do you know this . You can atill hear and feel the music so kick back relax and enjoy the ride . Don't woory you will come back when the music finally ends sometime arround dawn .
