made some yummy corn on the cob last night with lime juice and chili powder - cooked on the grill. Needs no butter and yummy! got the recipe a few years ago from weight watchers, of all places.

Here is how the bag ended up. Fried Parmesan and herb crusted mahi mahi (it's really about 1/2 inch thick but it doesn't look like it). Gertie's pickled asparagus and garlic and Parmesan panetinis with an EVOO dip ....

We are having a "spring clean up and hot dogs" tomorrow at work. I am going to make a topping for the dogs. People usually say "Ron is bringing his chili?" I took the easy way out eh ... cr*****
So this is how this ended up. Please remember I am only making a topping for some regular hot dogs.

It's Sunday, so ham hocks with black-eyed peas and some collard greens. Some buttermilk cornbread. Nothing like fresh cornbread made with freshly shucked corn. :-) Oh and now that cherries are in season - cherry cobbler!!!

That sounds so freaking delicious.
I made (from scratch) marinara and meatballs last night. It's been years since I made that dish and my kids lapped it up, along with a spinach salad and French bread. Score one for Mom!
I bought a package of really cute little baby artichokes last night at Whole Foods. I'm thinking of grilling them - even though the prep is a pain in the butt.
I've been looking online for ideas...will probably fix them tomorrow, although depending on what I do I may marinade them tonight? I did find one recipe where they are grilled and then you can put a dressing on them and marinade them.
so I'm open for ideas...

Ugh, I have no idea about dinner tonight. I have to go to the store first, and I'm afraid I'm going to buy up all sorts of food and then not want to make it when I get home.
We tried one of those bottled Thai Red Curry sauces recently and did a stir fry type thing with some chicken, squash, zucchini, onions, and mushrooms. It was really good and super-easy. (I tried to find a picture of the particular brand we used, but I can't remember what it's called and didn't see it when I just googled Thai Red Curry sauce.)
