This is for your take on a touchy subject. It should start some interesting dialogue. Keep in mind a few things here.
People have died at Bonnaroo before. Coachella lost one of their message board members last year on the last night from too much partying after coachella. 2 people died at Rothbury last year from health issues. Burning man and langerado have had people die there too.
There are many things that could happen and some are preventable, some are accidents, and some things just happen.
With that being said, be on your best behavior on this subject since some people have lost loved ones and friends related to this.
Always watch out for your health and well-being, drink plenty of water and dont push your limits too far during Bonnaroo, its an adventure of endurance.
With that being said, I guess if I died at Bonnaroo at least I know I left a lot to be remembered by.
I had an interesting conversation about life and death yesterday which kind of sparked this idea.

2007 death
Cody L. Conover, 25, of Lancaster, Ky., died Friday after his friends alerted emergency medical staffers that he was in some sort of trouble at his campsite. Conover was rushed to United Regional Medical Center in Manchester, where he was dead on arrival. It was the sixth death in Bonnaroo's six years.
A cause of death is pending autopsy results, which should be available in a few weeks, according to State Medical Examiner Bruce Levy's office.

2006, 2005, 2004 deaths
There was one death at Bonnaroo this year. A man wearing a Bonnaroo admission armband was killed Friday when he was struck by the tour bus carrying bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs.
Two people died from drug overdoses at Bonnaroo in 2004, and one man was found dead in his tent last year. Witnesses said he suffered from sleep apnea, but authorities said there were indications of unspecified drugs in his system.

I died at the Primus show at Rothbury last year. Woke up with tubes in my arms and a bunch of very happy people around me. They were happy because I wasn't dead. A word of advice: If you're on prozac, don't hang out with molly too much. I know it sounds obvious now, but you know how it is when you're in party mode.

serotonin syndrome?
How I'd like to die...If everything could go my way, I'd like to have Down be the last act of the weekend. Then, I'd want Phil Anselmo to invite me on stage, where he would then rip my beating heart from out of my chest and eat it. Yeah.....
But since no part of that is likely, I...wow...I'm gonna dedicate some thought to this and get back to you. This is a heavier subject than I anticipated it would be when I started this reply.
If I die at bonnaroo I would probably die happy. There's really no certain act I would want to be at or would want to have seen. If I'm at bonnaroo I know I would be happy. And I like to think that when I die I will be introduced to Jim Morisson and we will hit it off and fall in love......BUT Pam will most likely be there right next to him and I wouldn't want to interfere there after everything they've been through. So I will settle for being great friends with the both of them.
I don't know how I feel about this thread...Death and Bonnaroo are two subjects I think should be kept disassociated (is that a word)....While it is important to realize what has happened and how we should do our best to prevent it, this thread kinda gives me the shivers and reminds some 'guests' of the site of certain things just like other unallowable subjects... I might be completely off-base though, don't flame - this subject just makes me sad.

this sounds selfish because it means I want everyone to die with me, but i want to die in the Apocalypse. i really want to know how we all die and i dont think im really gonna be conscious of the existence of Earth unless im still on it
and i really hope we dont get sucked into a black hole made "accidentally" in a particle accelerator by some scientist in Switzerland or whereever haha. that would just be very anti-climatic and would really be a big kick in the nuts if we used technology to end everything we ever knew
in 07' when it was dustaroo i was having breathing problems (ive got asthma) and i was in the first aid tent getting some treatment, and i saw people all around me on cots and most of them were FREAKKING the eff out, and some were even restrained down to their cot... it made me sad and scared...
Being at My Morning Jacket last year was one of those times that I would be ok with dying. In particular, the climax of "Lay Low" when the clouds unleashed the rain.
If I died at Bonnaroo, though, I'd make sure everyone figured out on the forums. Then, I'd leave my name and password hidden for a friend to find, with instructions to post cryptic messages every so often. Maybe change my avatar to a ghostly image of my current avatar...that would be freaky.
