has anyone had luck getting ahold of any by going straight to an outlet, I figure you'd have to be first in line at the very least, but seems like it may be worth a try considering the way the internet sales have been going.

^ same here. I was prepared and was trying the phone and online at the same time. I tried for the pass and single day tickets, No luck, oh well. Congrats to everyone who got them, that's awesome. I've already used up all my luck this tour, methinks.
I got 4 Darien pavillions from Live Nation, but got shut out by TicketBastard for Merriweather. Hoping to get some SPAC's later... but if not, I now have extras to trade
I fucking hate you live nation. Its like you crossed Circuit city with homedepot (over priced and bad service). I was on the phone for 30 minutes trying to get though starting at 1240 and i kept refreshing my browser starting from 5 minutes before 1 until i finally got though at 7 after. I couldnt even search for tickets until 7 minutes after...... No SPAC for me, Im just glad I have Darien tickets and Bonnaroo. Still, so sad. wang

Yeah, same thing here- couldn't even search for tickets until 1:04 or so. By that time it was far, far too late. The speed in which this band is selling tickets this tour is focking unbelievable. SPAC sold out in five minutes or so? Jesus H. Christ. I didn't even think that many people like Phish.

The whole market value thing is weird to me. Technically market value on a phish show is 150-200 on a GA seat? The thing is the scalpers buy up 30-40% of the tickets, and artificially inflate the value of the seats. Personally I think TM should just print names, and check ID's for the bigger acts. Also they should allow one changeover to someone else, but charge a 10 dollar fee.
The scalpers are the problem, not the band or the phans, personally I think there is enough evenness in pricing to warrant an anti-trust investigation. Not that could ever happen, but I think there is cause at this point. There really are not a lot of high end brokers out there, and I can almost promise they e-mail around and set their pricing as a group to maximize profits. However it will take getting Stub Hub and tickets now to open their books in court to see how many individual sellers of more than 100+ tickets per show there are.
