ok I'm not going to lie. I'm confused. Kdogg's unprecedented move fucked up my line of thinking. It leaves me w. 2 options.
Kdogg innocent. (most likely). This assumes that Fish+Kdogg received the same mssg. That would leave kelaroo,higgi,hgh,nbf(dead). I suspect that at least the inspector is dead, bc we havent received any help along that front. Im guessing Sadie was vigilante/inspector.
Im really not sure, but I think our best chance to survive is to eliminate HGH this round. I think she is most likely mafia, and if so, is the brains of the operation.

The mafia is NEVER that cut and dry. If I were mafia, my fellow members would be stupid to try and save me at this point, it would only draw attention to them. The mafia don't have a rule that they can't vote against their own, and I've seen it happen. So.. your theory has holes.
I would also like to remind everyone that the person on whom I've focused the most attention each round hasn't necessarily been the guilty one. I know this in hindsight.
What I do know now is that I think you voters have created a bandwagon for the Mafia to jump on.
There are seven players remaining, and three left to vote. Out of those three players, I know both Fishingmaniac & myself are innocent. I'm not assuming anyone else's status for the moment.
What I know is this: Even if you may think Handgun is Mafia, I stress to you that I don't think she would be the last Mafia in that situation.
I strongly believe that we have more than one Mafia remaining. If that is the case, regardless of Handgun's role in all this, a Mafia member has already voted - and voted for Handgun.
If you believe there is more than one Mafia, as I do, it logically follows that at least one other Mafia member has voted for Handgun - whether she is Mafia or not.
That comes across to me as a Mafia endorsement of the path we're headed down. Just something I think we innocents should consider...

I have some whistleblowing to do. I was unsolicitedly contacted by one of our fellow players via AIM. This happened on Saturday, while nonsense was afoot.
To the skeptical observer, I point out that the content of this conversation should parallel what was going on in the thread at the time.
A partial transcript, which contains the portions I feel pertain to the game, follows. (Though we also came discuss Kanye, her Hanson fandom and the difference between hernias & hemerrhoids, amongst other non-mafia topics.)

im fairly certain in my vote. if you guys have a better target, im all ears. but like hgh says, if we want to take her out the mafia cant stop us, so you cant go by what the votes say.

I was speaking about Kelaroos comment, yours was just easier to quote and it has her quote within it.
personally, this just looks like someone asking for help.. I don't see any incriminating evidence in that convo that would lead me to believe Kelaroo is guilty.. But it does make me feel as if you are trying to divert our attention towards someone else, and that you may indeed be Mafia...

I'm actually posting that because I think it shows Kelaroo's probably innocent. She's new, her first-round reciprocal voting with Sadie and subsequent voting record, and general naiveté throughout the game - emphasized by her questions for me on AIM - actually lead me to believe she's innocent.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: innocents are wasting their time pursuing me as Mafia. Sadie & Fish know it for sure. I believe there's some others out there who would agree with us.

If anyone who's not on that Mafia list dies tonight, I think all the Townspeople/Innocents should go after those three (in order) with a vengeance. I don't think whacking one person on this list automatically discredits the other two; rather, I think it will root out the one of those three that's not Mafia.

Sadie agreed with me. Sadie died. Sadie died at the hands of Mafia, so we know she's innocent. I think it's fair to assume that, at this point, the Mafia is whacking an innocent because they didn't like what that innocent was saying.

Rooconteur looks confused, and I can relate. He seems to be slowly but surely coming along, and the more he does so the more I think he's innocent too.
The fact that Kelaroo asked me questions about what happens during Night leads me to believe she doesn't have any special role in all this, period. That's not the only evidence I've seen suggesting her innocence, but it's the one that tilted the scales in favor of her innocence as far as I'm concerned.
That leaves you, Higgi... What do you have to say for yourself?

I honestly don't know whether she's Mafia or not. What I do know is that she is not the player I am most confident in voting for.
Why are you still going on about my guiltiness? I think I blew that notion out of the water over a round ago.
As I've said before, I am nearly positive the Mafia is piling their votes on Handgun. Because I know at least one Mafia member has voted for Handgun, that makes Handgun more likely innocent in my eyes. I also said before that I believe the Mafia is trying to rush a judgment against Handgun. Look who's pushing hardest to close the vote...
Higgi is the personification of the Mafia behavior I feel is going on here:
He's accusing ME (of all players) of being Mafia, after what I've done this game to prove otherwise.
I'm not seeing much evidence in his attacks; when called out, he'd rather attack me more than defend himself - I think that's because he knows he's got no case for himself.
Note that he's trying to shut me up when I try to tell the innocents that we're going in the wrong direction. I think this is the most he's engaged a player all game. I know I'm innocent, so that makes him look even more suspect to me.
He wants this round of voting to close as soon as possible, because he knows the judgment currently favors his agenda.
I'm not saying my vote for Higgi makes Handgun innocent. I am just a helluva lot more certain that Higgi is Mafia than that Handgun is Mafia.
