Geez... I always get targeted so early in this game
To clarify any "shadiness," I changed my vote because the first vote is always random. It often involves making up some reason as to why a person's name or activity on these boards would result in them being a mafia. Since somebody mentioned a bonnaroo hooker, I tagged along and voted that person just to accumulate votes. but after reading more people's posts I figured that handgunhips might not be mafia.
So, by changing my vote I thought it'd be more of a peace offering to handgunhips and say "look, I don't think you're mafia and so I'm retracting my vote." Since at the time I was the only other one with votes against me I had to pick a new person to vote for, which turned out to be cheezwiz (once again, that random vote thing...)
If I were mafia, there's only two of us to start... why would I risk eliminating myself the first round and leave just one mafia left for rest of the rounds. Like you guys said, that's just silly. At this point in the game it's not as detrimental to lose a civilian as it is for the mafia to lose one of, and essentially half, of their life in the game.

okay, here's my question....why did you change your vote FROM handgunhips TO cheezwhiz when handgun voted for you....
strum voted for hangun. in return, she voted for strum. then strum changed his vote to cheezwhiz...
that is seriously suspicious. but why would strum change his vote? thoughts anyone?

i'm still completely lost as to what's going on, but i'm staying with strum. the more i think about it, the more suspicious his behavior is. that point about him changing his vote was a good point.

Because as you said... handgun only voted for me in return. And I only voted for her because someone had just voted for her. By changing my vote away from her, my intentions are for her to realize that my vote for her was completely random and i don't mind changing it away from her in a new direction if it could also cause her to change her vote away from me.
And as for changing it to cheezwiz, well that was just a fresh name to vote for because nobody else had any votes against them

Well yes. That is the important part. But neither a mafia or a civilian wants votes for them... so that really isn't any legit basis for suspicion in my opinion... but whatevs
I've decided I'm not gonna argue my survival any more. I've already talked too much in this game... silly me. If the civilians don't kill me tonight then surely the mafia will
