I vote for Steve. Sorry Steve, it's completely random
Completely random? Your only voting for him because he pees standing up and you know it. (I am going to die soon aren't I?)
S'OK. And to be fair, I never said I did pee standing up, only that I could.
I vote that we dismember Mike.
EDIT:
OK, looking more closely at the votes so far, here's where I am.
I can't vote for fishingmaniac, because even though I don't trust that bastard I think he'll make the game much more fun, so I don't want him off too soon.
I can't vote for Druid 'cause she's my peep (at least I think).
I can't vote for me because I'm me.
I'll stick with Mike for now. That is, stick with dismembering him.

^^ I must admit, Druid.. that was a very well organized post against fishingmaniac. I laughed at it. :]
Also, I will be at work until 930 tonight. In that time, if vote changes occur, I will update them as soon as I get home.. so the vote count won't change until then. I'm thinking Sadie and Bama will probably vote while I'm at work so when I get off, if that has happened, I'll close the voting and start night.
Start night? I think this will go to a run-off vote first.
Have we had a run-off between more than two people before? I would think that all the players tied with the highest vote total are the options for a run-off, but I don't know if there's a specific rule stating that. I'll assume something like that is done at the ref's discretion.
I'm pretty sure the only way this won't go to a run-off is if those two people vote for one person who already has votes.
I've thought about it, and I think it would be fun to watch Druid & fm antagonize each other.
I'm retracting my vote for Druid and voting for Bek for my own personal reasons - I called her out when she walked past me last Bonnaroo, and she just kept on walking.
S'OK. And to be fair, I never said I did pee standing up, only that I could.
I vote that we dismember Mike.

I can't vote for fishingmaniac, because even though I don't trust that I HAVE NO DADDY! I think he'll make the game much more fun, so I don't want him off too soon.

At second glance this post appears to require some closer examination. Note the use of the word "dismember" not once but twice. Dismemberment is some pretty gruesome and violent stuff. That has mafia written all over it. Not to mention the stream of logic which is used to justify exterminating people as acceptable collateral damage. This too reeks of organized crime, assessing peoples value vs their extermination. Note that my value is only temporary. Again this is a mafia mentality.
Of the utmost interest is this portion.
I can't vote for Druid 'cause she's my peep (at least I think).
He can't vote for Druid, because "she is my peep". This would indicate that both are mafia as they are now linked and belong to the same group or family.
But then he goes on to say "at least I think". This would indicate that he is unsure. This my friends is the fatal flaw in this post. I call reverse psychology shenanigans. Steve is trying to misguide us into thinking that he is mafia when all along he is really the inspector and thereby manipulate the game. Were he mafia he would know that Druid is mafia as I suspect.
However, it is possible that this is just a ploy by two mafiosi to confuse us so that we vote out a fellow towns person. In other words maybe his trying to make us think that he is faking being mafia so that we think that he is the inspector when he is really mafia and is elaaborately pretending to be the inspector. A sort of double reverse psychology shenanigan.
I think from reading this it is clear to all of you exactly what I am saying and it should be clear exactly what I have now decided to do with my vote.

Which is weird though, because both of them logged in and checked their roles..
If they haven't voted by tomorrow at noon-- we can decide to go to a runoff and reinstate the time limit, or whatever the majority thinks we should do.
Perhaps the end of the workday would be better, to give them a fair chance? Noon seems a bit too soon, yet extending things more another 24hrs seems a bit much.
im sorrrrry. didn't realize a game actually got started. let me catch up on everything i missed real fast. hahah i dont even know my role! sorry people!

I agree. Until 5ish tomorrow? That sounds good to me.

Ref's call. We're only missing one vote at this point.

Fishingmaniac heads back to his tent after a long night of dancing to Girl Talk and gets incredibly comfortable in his tent. He zips the tent closed and falls right to sleep. Upon waking to the hot Tennessee sun, Fishingmaniac realizes that everything from his tent has been removed, and when he goes to upzip his tent, it's been locked. With no way to cut his way out of the tent, or further escape, Fishingmaniac slowly bakes in the sun..
Day is over. Night begins.
Mafia- PM me your vote and death story. Inspector- PM me your guess.

I am now rooting for the mafia since my own townspeople turned on me. You baked an innocent man to death at bonnaroo. What the hell is wrong with you people?

The mafia have spoken!
Several days before the greatness that is Bonnaroo was to begin, Steve E. realized he hadn't bothered to buy a ticket. Not willing to pay $600+ on E-bay or to contribute to the prosperity of a scalper (karma for that) Steve instead calls up Phish and BEGS them to pull some strings and get him on the Bonnaroo stage crew. Phish being the cool dudes that they are happily oblige and Steve gets a free trip to The Farm.
However this story does not have a happy ending. On his first night on the job, Steve indulges in a couple of innocent party favors. In a haze he stumbles around in the back of WHAT stage until he is completely entangled in cables and ropes - at which point he passes out. The other roadies don't notice he is gone until they start hoisting catwalks, screens and speakers in preparation for the weekend. All of these are connected to the cables Steve is entangled in. Predictably the cables trapping his arms are being pulled up, while the ropes wrapped around his legs are being dragged down. Something has to give and in this case the something is Steve E's limbs, resulting IN...
Have to go to work. Those Walmart shopping carts don't hand out themselves you know. But before I go, and you vote today, please remember that I have seven children to support. If you kill me, they will have no means of survival. Here is a photo of the kids:
Wilbur, Bobby Joe, Mattie Belle, Winifred (yes it is a girl, we weren't sure for a while) Billy Bob, Bubba, And Trey
my first instinct was to vote for either bek or mike. cus they voted for steve. whom, the mafia killed off. either they are mafia, or the mafia wants us to think they are mafia. i pick mike. cause that is who steve voted for??

Well you're down the inspector now plus one mafia. So that should only leave two mafia. Right? I'm staying out of this thread to show you how uninteresting it will be without me, mafia or not.
I've got a few suspects in mind, but I'm not going to vote until I get some feedback. Us townspeople are still the majority around here, so I figure hearing some thoughts from my fellow citizens will help.
First, we have Druid. She wanted to kill fishingmaniac from the start. That doesn't necessarily mean she's mafia - she could just be a citizen whose vendetta was realized. Yet I'm still not convinced of her innocence.
But we have new information from the whacking, which is probably more reliable to go on due to the nature of first rounds...
Steve got whacked. Bek & Mike voted for Steve - but Steve voted for Mike. Part of me says Mike & Steve could be in cahoots with those votes, but I'm reluctant to kill off a first-timer without more solid evidence. If the mafia were gunning for Steve or if Steve were mafia - they could have shifted a few votes during voting to either save/off him. And I'm still not sure what to make of Steve changing his vote from carpe to Mike. Was that his fatal mistake?
Fishingmaniac's parting words stated that: - he is "an innocent man:" - we killed off the Inspector and one Mafia There's only five people who know who's mafia in Day One. Handgun & the three mafia know the entire mafia roster, and the Inspector knew one of them. It's entirely possible fishingmaniac was our Inspector, and started the game off with Steve's name. It also makes sense that, as Inspector, fishingmaniac wouldn't want to immediately reveal that he knew a mafia's identity - it makes Inspector a target from the start. Hence (amongst other reasons) his vote for Druid could have been a red herring to distract the mafia from discovering his role.
As I said, I'm leaving my vote open for now. I want to bounce my thoughts off y'all and see if one of you can make more sense of this.
In the meantime, I'm casting a suspicious eye towards Druid, Superbek & Mike and wonder what the rest of you Townspeople think... but I've got open ears if someone has a good theory about someone else.
