Sangreal edited the schedule to include actual due dates for you, the Bandaroo writer and reader, to know when to expect a new band description to be posted (karma to him!). same here i know other ppl signed up for the others i had except for galactic. so i'll do all of them or just galactic, i don't really care
right now i'm "covering" bonnaroo - covering meaning i'm putting in my 2 cents, nothing official, just for fun, makes me happy, want to spread the word - i also call it a bonnaroo preview
my brother runs www.cincypunk.org and i'm "covering" that festival as well - local festival - i'll also be returning in late sept for midpoint festival
anyways...i realize my site comes off as "amateurish" but i'm kind of okay with that - i don't exactly know what i'm doing nor have i been doing it long, it'll take time and practice and i'm fine with that
but i enjoy my site, i know other people do as well. i just wanted to share with everyone, and i'd be more than happy to include your band-a-day's on my blog or any other bonnaroo or other input you want to share
i don't make any money off of it as i'm sure you expected, anyone can register at blogspot.com for a free blog, so i can't pay you for your input - and for me it's not about money anyways - it's all simply for the love of music, bonnaroo, and the local music scene
cincinnati/northern kentucky recently had some bands play at sxsw
don't know if any of you went or caught heartless b@stards (from cincinnati, based out of austin now i believe), bad veins, kim taylor, the seedy seeds or seabird
others have played in the past including buffalo killers, peter adams, chocolate horse

Im just thinking in terms of not clogging up the board more than it already is. Theres pretty much already a thread for every artist. Should we maybe just make a Bandaroo Artist thread so its all together?
I was thinking similarly seems to make sense to me, the less clutter the better.
i think the posts will be made where these sub boards are. if every artist is posted in the same "Bandaroo a day thread" or whatever all the discussion is probably going to get jumbled together and smaller acts will be phased out. Creating a separate thread for each artis in a sub-forum is going to make it a lot more organized, imo anyway.

I think I misunderstood where the new thread were going if they are staying in the sub forum then thats good. Didnt want them to get mixed in the threads in Troo.

Yeah, I'm confused with that. I'm sure nearly all of us have home internet access, so it shouldn't be difficult to get something posted. In fact, I figured the weekend would give the writer a good amount of last minute time.

This thread is for easy access to the schedule and to let me know about any scheduling conflicts. All band sign-ups are to be done in the band sign-up thread. Neighborhood Creep (awesome icon...again) and Mulchies, I'll add you guys anyway, but from here on out, sign up on the other thread.

Ok. lack of communication apparently is running wild on this thread. I just pm'd jbaruch76 and she said she had forgotten about doing the Phish one and could have it ready by Wednesday. Not to be a downer, but shouldn't a moderator have contacted her to remind her of this?
I think this Band-a-Day is a good idea with just some loose execution. Perhaps pm'ing the people who are coming up to remind them/make sure they are gonna be able to produce a finished product should be in order. Just a thought...

Madmanpondo is totally right here. It's hard to keep your due dates on tabs. Therefore there will be two things...
1. Sangreal created an updated schedule (give him some karma for that one) which includes the actual due dates and eliminates weekend updates (for your convenience).
2. I'll start PMing you guys two days before your due dates as a reminder.

Just for the record, I will definitely have David Byrne up today, but it might be late in the evening (and/or in a slightly unfinished state). I will title it "Day 5" based on the numbering in the schedule unless someone tells me otherwise.
OK, I had to post the David Byrne so I could stop messing with it at work. I still have some links to add tonight and definitley appreciate any corrections of factual errors or html advice (that stuff is pretty new to me)!
