Super flexible, any of those days would work. Most of my Roo friends from cbus have bailed so it would probably only be me plus 1. Hope to see you guys soon

Looks like I'm kabrewing at Scioto Canoe Livery either this Saturday or next, so it's doubtful that I would make it to any sort of meet up after a day of drinks on the river.
How about we shoot for Sunday, May 27th at Grandview Cafe?? Say round 7pm??
We saw them in Cleveland last Saturday and in Morgantown in late April but weren't able to swing anymore shows with all the Bonnaroo costs coming up. I'd love to see them in both Columbus and Pittsburgh though.

I was at the Cleveland show, what a great show!!! Even though they didn't play 'Salina'

Hey everyone.
I'm a 23 year old guy trying to carpool and maybe camp with some cool peoples down to Bonnaroo this year. I have money to pitch in for gas, and my own camping stuff. I live in the Toledo area, so if anyone has any open spots in the area, please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey, everyone. I am in Cincinnati and looking to hook up with some people to go down since all of my people that expressed interest have bailed. I would come up and meet on Sunday but I have family in town for the holiday weekend and can't get away to go that far.
Couple things: - 31 and a first time Roo'r. - I have an extra ticket now to sell off unless I get someone I know to commit in the next couple days. - I have a new 4Runner with a large roof basket and can drive at least one person to share on fuel departing from Cinci. - I own more tents than any one person needs so I have options of tenting into the liftgate of my 4Runner and sleeping in the back (if I go it alone) or I have a 3 room tent (for groups).
Anybody else in the Cincinnati area in the same boat or can get to Cinci but in the same boat? Any plans on making a caravan down the 3C corridor (I-71).
If you are looking for a ride then hit me up by PM and we can try and figure something out. Maybe use Facebook to clear up any suspicions of being a psycho killer, or worse, an asshat.

just a reminder for those of you who may have forgotten or might still be interested.
i'll be at the main bar inside on the 1st floor.
should be sporting my red phillies baseball cap.
looks like the weather's supposed to be decent, so maybe we can relocate to the patio depending on how many peeps make an appearance.

So, new to this thread (and to contributing to the board, actually) but what route are you Ohio-folks taking to the farm? Last year, Kentucky's construction on 71 and 65 was so awful that I ended up in stopped traffic for a ridiculous amount of time (total trip took 11.5 hours, from Cincinnati to Nashville)... thought I'd check the KY Traffic information and they have most of 71 and 65 down to one lane or under serious construction again. Seriously considering taking 75 til right before their construction (thanks to the highway collapsing down the mountain in one section) and then a series of KY state highways. Supposedly adds 20 minutes to my trip, but that isn't necessarily true if 71 is as bad as it was last year.

Where exactly did you find information about road construction, etc.? I am having a hard time. Does anyone know if there's a website that you can enter a starting point and a destination and it gives you the most up to date info on road conditions, construction, etc?

Well, most of our trip is done through Kentucky so I just went to the official Kentucky Road Conditions (511.ky.gov) page. It has all construction, closures, traffic, etc. updates for the KY commonwealth. It does let you enter a starting point and a destination, but it doesn't give you alternate routes. I used Google Maps for that, and just manually checked the construction alerts in KY for that route.

We'll be there. Look for a guy wearing a red Guinness shirt with a female wearing a green skirt (me). See you at 7pm!

That construction must have just started. (?) I was at Beale St. Music Festival weeks ago and the whole trip was smooth sailing there and back from Cincinnati through Nashville to Memphis.

Yeah, I'm not sure when it started. Some of the information has an end date, but there isn't ever a start date. Who knows, maybe it'll all be fine. I'm probably a little extra hesitant after what ended up happening to me last year-- my car had no AC and doesn't like to idle (we were taking another car to the farm, I just had to get to Nashville) so I was pretty miserable the whole 11 hours I was sitting on the highway.
hey there fellow bonnoroovians, my name is james and i'm currently looking to team up n carpool/party/rage with some like minded (peaceful, loving) people to roo this year....i'm down to drive or throw down on gas if someone else wants to drive, let me know if anyone is interested thanks. peace n love
p.s. modest mouse is june 26th at LC Pavilion in Columbus...cant wait to rage!!!
oh yeah btw im looking to leave wednesday night sometime....definately dont wanna get stuck in line for 6,7,8 hours like last time....even though i did get a decent tan out of it
I'm from Cincinnati and went to Nashville last Thursday and it took about 4 1/2 hours. There is some construction in Kentucky but it really wasn't that bad as far as a backup or anything.
Hey there fellow ohio bonnarooers! My girlfriend and i are looking for a ride from either athens ohio (OU) or columbus to roo and back. We're both 21 and 20 respectively and totally down to thrown down on whatever and pay for gas! Plus if you need an extra tent or supplies i have a 4 and 6 person tent + a canopy, cooler, two air mattresses and other goodies. This is our 4th year and roo, We're really laid back fun people and love to party!
Send me an email a rblauer@gmail.com or post here. Thanks!
i second the excitement over modest mouse ohhhh man thats gonna be so good
Did i read right that you have a car (down to drive)? In which case we can totally take care of the gas or most of it. Are you coming from cinci? I was just talking with my girlfriend and we might not be able to leave (athens) till 7:30/8pm on weds because of her French final. It's about an hour and 45 minutes from Columbus for reference. Maybe we can work something out tho

rossroo and peace - I am also in Cincy (Oakley) and have a buddy coming down from Detroit on Wednesday evening.
In order to NOT get placed in BFE I am planning on delaying leaving till the middle of the night so I can get there super early on Thursday after BFE is filled, closed, and made a 1-way in and hope for a spot more central.
If you are planning on doing this or similar let me know and maybe we can caravan! Same thing to everyone else from or passing through Cincy.
Alright peace! and dead too! My buddy is going to pick us up in athens and jet it over to cinci. We should get in around 10:30. Should work..deadbeatmike has the right idea. Coming from columbus..around midnight seems to be the sweet spot to leave. We got in pretty god damn close to the east centaroo entrance because of what he mentioned. Compared to the year before where we left at 2am and ended up waiting in line for like 10 fucking hours.
www.facebook.com/rblauer heres my facebook and again my email is rblauer@gmail.com! Lets start coordinating this thang! Bonnarooooo
