According to this, bonnaroo.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=18149, 2579 people so far who've filled out their schedule are trying to go to Passion Pit. In a cafe. This is up there with Animal Collective during the day in bad scheduling decisions on Bonnaroo's part. I wish they'd put them on before Crystal Castles and Girl Talk and just move those two a little later
I guess its a good thing Passion Pit aren't scheduled to play a cafe. And Animal Collective during the day is not as bad a decision as everyone on this board thinks it is. They don't have a crazy light show and they don't require a long set.

This scheduling is actually pretty convenient for me. I can go to Beastie Boys at the What, then head to the back of the field for Phoenix. I've already seen Byrne on his tour so I can skip him that hour. I just hope that tent won't be too packed with Byrne playing the same time.

It's like that for a lot of the tent acts when there's nobody major on a stage. Alejandro Escovedo and Allen Toussaint has something like 3000+ people so far attending their shows. That's half of what Springsteen and Phish have. There's a way to use the schedule filler but I wouldn't say taking it word for word is the best. (I'm still trying to figure out how to use it best). Also Zoltaroo might be overloading people on certain bands.

They're still too big to be playing a cafe stage. They have more listeners on last.fm than most of the other acts

Your original reference was to Passion Pit and this is the Phoenix thread. For point of clarification, summerteeth, are you referring to Passion Pit or Phoenix?
