yay for old people lol I'm 50 (+) myself, when I told my "kids" (27 & 23) that I was going they informed me everyone would point and laugh, I would be the oldest fart there and "do I know what goes on there??"
umm please I lived (and partied) through the sixties younguns, nothing that goes on there would shock me
Agree. Yeah, we know what goes on there, that's why we are going!

It always make me kind of sad inside when friends of mine say they are too old to be doing stuff like Bonnaroo. What they never say is what activities are more age appropriate...sitting and watching TV? Who knows?
I'm 38, this will be my 4th roo and it gets better every year.
I'm attending Roo # 4, and I'll be turning 51 later this year. It's the best 4 days all year, and I get little to no sleep at all. The rest of the year is for naps
I have to laugh, Ho Ho Ho. If you are 50+ and still alive, Bonnaroo is nothing compared to the activities you would have par taked in during the 70's. Has no one seen the film Dazed and Confused? Everytime I see that movie I am reminded of all the brain cells I fried in High School and the ridiculous pukka beads we used to wear.

unlike chuck e. cheese...........there's no age limit at Roo. you can be old and still have fun. i don't get the idea where people would think others would laugh or point at older roo goers. some of the coolest people at roo were the older, kinder folk - not the young, drunk off their asss, only there to get F'ed up and not watch music.

Hopefully, I'll be the former & not the latter (though I've had experience with both I'm sad to say)
I turn 54 shortly B4 Roo, had a blast last year so I'm down as a POD VOL this year. Age is a state of mind! Roo turned me on to bands I'd never paid attention to before, plus I got to see classics = Willie F'n Nelson! The lineup looks good this year I'm excited & can't wait!
Right on!!!! I'm still a youngin' at 32 so it'll be a while before I join the 40+ crowd myself, but B'ROO has no age limit at all. Plus, just the coolest people on earth... all good things....
Is the Sunday lineup always so light? There's plenty of good acts and it is a little bit relief not to be as tortured by missing someone I want to see but . . . when I think of the pain I will endure while watching my beloved Wilco but missing TMV, The Decemberists, EC, & Dave Grisman, I've got to wonder why at least a couple of these acts couldn't be moved to Sunday.

Both. My wife suggested that I revisit my youth by taking an old buddy of mine. It took about a nanosecond to say yes! I am a huge Wilco fan. That might have prompted her to come up with the idea even though I just saw them here in Bham.
I've always studied the lineups each year. This year just looks incredible for my tastes . . . from David Byrne to Del McCoury.

I was pretty impressed at how fast you can actually get to use a port-a-potty. They have so many of those things, just rows and rows of them. So you don't have to wait long.
