Last year Roo had ran out of schedule books early, people arriving to the fest were screwed out of there souvenir and critical schedule book, I hope this year roo realized there mistake by not have the many thousands of books they failed to have last year and prints up an excess of books.
I agree. Although I did get my book last year, it was ruined in the rain. That would suck to not have the schedule, especially if you didn't already bring one.

Every other year I've printed the schedule out but for some reason I didn't last year. So of course, that's the year they don't give me one. I don't know of they should print an excess of books, but it makes sense to print one for every ticket they print.

Every fest i've ever been to has ran out of schedules except for Echo Project. Bring your own just in case you arrive late. Also, check the different info booths, sometimes one section will run out while another unused booth has stacks. I also send my GF up after I inquire myself, that way we have an extra to use or giveaway to some wandering soul.

Every year except last year Roo has had lots of extras at the pods or in Centeroo, and you could stop in any day and get a new one. Last year was the first year that they ran out before most people had set up camp, and there were no extras anywhere -- the pods even all had signs by Friday that said as much.
I was never given one last year but our neighbors gave us an extra. I saw dozens of them on the ground just walking through Centeroo. I picked one up so my huasband & I would have our own. One got totally soaked but the other stayed dry b/c I put it ina ziplock bag.

I always print a schedule and keep the book in a ziploc bag. It's got tons of cool info in it that I like to have in a safe place so it doesn't get lost/ruined. It would only make sense that they print a book for every ticket sold plus more... I wonder why they ran out.

schedule isnt as much of an issue as just having the book to keep. although it was pretty crazy last year how many people didnt have one. i got one eventually, but i had to keep going to the info booths asking if they had any.
it didnt make sense how they had none to hand out when i arrived thursday evening though...

Last year I made kind of a schedule card for myself, which was a lifesaver as we had to groundscore a schedule book sometime on Friday. Using Excel, I had the start times, stages, and bands and it was color coded by stage and priority. I had one section for Thursday/Friday, and another for Saturday/Sunday. I printed it out, glued the two sections together back to back, and had it laminated. Only the bands that I really wanted to see or might be interested in at that time slot were on it to make it portable. The whole thing was probably 6" x 7" and fit nicely in the pocket of my cargo shorts. Getting it laminated made it fairly water resistant as long as it didn't just sit in wet stuff for a while. The rain was not a problem for it last year. It did have the disadvantage of only having the bands I picked out, so I was relatively cluelesss as to what was happening elsewhere. But it's cheap and easy to make, and you don't have to worry about toting around a whole book and potentially losing or ruining your souvenier.

LOL. My friend did this for ACL one year, but she went so far as to also laminate the map of the food area since there were so many things we wanted to eat!
If you arrive at a table in Centeroo giving out schedules? Walk up to the table SEPERATELY... critical advice
As far as a souvenir? I like mine with battlescars ;D
hehe, mines pretty wet still. as far as im concerned, walk up to the table with everyone you showed up with and DEMAND! a book. they tried to give us the "one per group" bullsh!t at one booth last year and i was like, HAHA! youre joking? you want me to hang next to my freind the entire time just because you dont want to give me my own book?
They do seem to run out every year. I'm sure that part of it is that they portion a certain amount to each entrance but everybody doesn't arrive in the same pattern. If you forget to bring your own copy and they run out at the entrances and the pods, you can still get a daily schedule in the Beacon.

I kept mine in a ziplock bag. Schedule and cigarettes go in a plastic bag just in case.

Poster-sized schedules are pinned up on the several information kiosks scattered around Centeroo. I believe these reflect any last-minute schedule changes.
I didn't know there was a shortage we were using huge piles of them for seating in VIP we had so many extra.
Yes, there was!! We drove through the gates about 4:00 pm on Thursday, and they were already out but told me to go to Centeroo to get one. Once we got our tent set up, I walked to Centeroo, and they informed me they were out there too. They said to come back the next morning around 8:30 or 9:00, so I woke up early and got one. The rest of my crew walked to Centeroo around lunch to get one, and they were already out again!!! I mean, were they unaware how many people bought tickets???? Surely arriving at 4:00 pm on Thursday we were not one of the last cars-HA! I hope they're better prepared this year b/c that was just ridiculous.

I didn't get one last year either. I was one of the last people to show up. Fortunately I brought the schedule Chris made that I downloaded right here at Inforoo.
Didn't worry about it either, worryin' ain't the kind of thing you do on the farm.
I did not get one upon arrival at the gate at around 1 pm on TH but someone in my group was able to get there hands on like 10 and handed them out to the people in my immediate area about 2 -3 hrs after getting parked, not even sure where she got them from it was strange but I was glad to get one. and yes Centerroo was out when I looked at 500pm
They SHOULD be better prepared this year. If not, I suggest everyone print out this www.sendspace.com/file/s1m889 that buckeyerooer made its great

It doesn't make sense to me that any good festival wouldn't have enough schedules.... i would think they would print out enough for every ticket plus like another 5,000.... i mean they have the money to do so, that should be like pocket change to them
