I think at this point the only possible investigators were/are Squid, Ian, or Higgi (Assuming that the investigator would tell us if a fake was claiming to be the investigator). For some reason I doubt it was Squid. Ian responded to Higgi's claim so I doubt he was the investigator. This along with the fact he did not care about changing his vote makes me more confident then ever about Higgi.
As I have mentioned there seems to be no reason not to trust Higgi at this point. Your doubt is further proof that you might be mafia #3.
Not the message board version, but I read the majority of the last two games before starting this one to ensure I knew something about what was going on.
I just can't see how another player could have been the investigator. Every player other than Squid had an opportunity to claim that Higgi was lying and I would think that they would have done so. I doubt Squid was the investigator so I have no reason not to believe Higgi.

I've explained myself to a T. I was provided with Jacks name to begin the game, I asked about Pimp after the first round and was lucky enough to guess correctly, giving me the names of two mafia.. For fear of randomly getting whacked and not getting the word out about Jack and Pimp I outed myself. I never thought I would live this far in the game but it is clearly because the mafia are trying to turn the tides on me..
AND, the first reason you thought Bacon and I were working together was because of the brief, in-thread, convo we had about the Avett Brothers show... Which shouldn't surprise you because I have a deep profound love for those boys, and I want to dance to St. Joseph's at my wedding
You should use your next turn to ask about kel, higgi. Then if you tell us yes and we kill her next, the game should be over. If you tell us yes, we kill her, and the game does not end, then we will know right away you are a big liar. Then it will be up to the remaining townspeople to kill you and your cohorts.
On a side note: If you've really been able to trick us this long higgi, then you def deserve the win. Haha.

Kelly. If you believe this is true, then you should let higgi "ask" and hear his answer. Then you should sacrifice yourself to be voted off. Like I mentioned earlier, if you indeed are the 3rd mafioso, then the game will be over. if you aren't mafia, then the game will continue. This means higgi and bacon are the mafia and were lying. It would be ok though, bc that would leave chief, myself, and jzor outnumbering higgi and bacon and the townspeople would be victorious.
I hope that actually made sense to someone other than myself.
Eap your theory will leave three townspeople and two mafia, I don't see that being a good plan. That will be a hard battle to fight, I don't see why you wouldn't want all the townspeople to stick together!
