Thanks a lot Mods. A lot of my friends and people i know are always asking me how I knew the lineup/schedule early and all other info we stumble across on here.... INFOROO is the Sh*t and i appreciate all u guys did/do to make this site a success. Cant wait till the brunch but most of all....27 days till the best three days and four nights of the year.

Just for the record, I am more of a retired mod at this point than a mod. I once was a mod, many moons ago, but haven't really moderated anything (or been moderate about anything for that matter) in a couple of years.
Since I did it once when the board was far less busy, I do appreciate all of the time and effort that the mod squad puts in to keeping things humming around here. Here's hoping I finally meet everybody this year.
Although I am missing my first Roo in 6 years I hope everyone has a great time. I may get to meet some peeps at Allgood! Oh, and your appreciation is greatly appreciated here also. :-)
This is a fairly well behaved board considering the size and diversity of opinion. I think the mods deserve a good bit of the credit for that. Their job must be like herding cats sometimes.

Having had the privilege to meet MOST of the mods on this board in person at various festies and get to know most of them at least a LITTLE bit... (OK, I think I MET Adam ONCE...don't think I have met kai, think MAYBE ran into aquariumdrunk once and am pretty sure I have at least said hello to funktopus)...for the others I feel pretty secure in saying that they are STELLAR peeps and really good at what they attempt to do on this board which is NOT always easy...to draw lines between spirited debated and opinion and nasty name-calling, rebel-rousing destructive and mean-spirited opinions and tangents meant to stir up emotion not grounded in fact.
Do we need some fresh ideas and new viewpoints? I'm not opposed to that at all...but it is NOT my call nor anyones but the appointed caretakers of this board and what they feel is in the best interest of it going forward. SHould there be a base 4 member panel that is the core and 4 slots that rotate every 2 years or so? Maybe that's one suggested answer. But that could help OR hurt. It's something to think about careful and not just change on the fly. I believe that people HAVE goot intentions and it's only through outside influences that make us have doubts and do otherwise.

Yeah, seriously, y'all do a FANTASTIC job with this site. I've been a member of some forums/message boards that were and are utter sh!tshows when it came to organization and admin/modding.
