token07 Who are you most excited to see at MOEMS? Who are you planning to avoid like the plague? What music do you like but are embarrassed to admit? Is there a Mrs. Token?

This documentary called Marley about the life and music of Bob Marley. Always knew who he was and some of his songs but the film really surprised me. He's pretty amazing and I had no idea how much he did in his short time here. I am now a fan. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I'm not sure really. I don't like the snow, bugs get on my nerves, but I like having seasons, love nature but don't want to be super secluded from people. I don't know a place that can fit all those needs hahaha. I wanted to say something fancy but I honestly don't know. All "exotic" places become normal after being there a while. Right now I'll say Arizona. I loved it there and if it weren't for the hot summers it would be perfect. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
I'd buy everyone that I've made friends with here Roo tickets....actually...I'd get us all the 'Party Like A Rockstar' tickets and we would rage all weekend. Every year. I'd spoil you all in the name of music and good times
Tell me something about you that most people don't know.
I'm pretty religious. I'm a Christian and I don't think a lot of my friends know it because I don't discuss religion unless it comes up. I'm an odd one though. I actually love everyone and forgive people constantly. I try to be Christ like in everything that I do without the judgement and hate that most Christians like to throw out there on people. God is love and so I try to spread that love as much as possible. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
If I could change something I think it'll be for people to love more honestly. We get so wrapped up in technicalities and it's really sad and frustrating. I believe if we actually loved each other and LISTENED to one another a lot of these problems wouldn't be so bad. A hippy answer yes...but I've been told I'm becoming one so I might as well follow through. Do you like to dance?
Heh. Love to dance. I used to be the fat guy that got down during our dance sequences in marching band. I don't do it so much anymore (in public) but I can bust a move if I have too. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Oh yes. If the opportunity came in I'd jump on it. I've never left the country and it's something I'd love to do. I love new experiences and meeting new people. If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?
Probably Paul McCartney...which is the obvious answer...but I can't think of anyone else I'd want to have lunch with. I'm just curious to talk to him about music. I don't really care about his past much since all that is readily available but I'd just love to have a chat about boring stuff. Plus I can say I had lunch with Sir Paul and brag about it for the rest of my life.
Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
Oh wow. Good question. Hmm. There's still store in AZ called Bookmans. I pick that. How many tattoos do you have? If you don't have any, have you ever thought of getting one?
I don't have any. I don't think tattoos look good on black skin honestly. There are exceptions I suppose.
I made jokes about getting the entire Hogwarts castle tattood on my back. That's about it though. There's nothing I think I'd want on me for that long. What's the farthest-away place you've been?
I think LA is the furthest I've gone out.
If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
Jesus. He seems like a stand up guy. Messiah or not he seemed like a really good person and I'd love to pick his brain. Have you ever won a trophy?
Oh yeah. I couldn't name them but I won a few back in my youth. Mostly marching band related if my memory serves me correctly.
What are you reading now?
Nothing at the moment. I started 'The Hobbit' a while back but never finished it. I think I'll get on that before the next movie comes out. I want to start reading the 'Game of Thrones' book. I heard it's a good series. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Well I wasn't going to come. I had an important work thing that I had to attend but I just found out I had the dates mixed up. I have something else planned for the weekend for MOEMS but I'm going to see what I can do. IF I were to go Animal Collective was my top pick. I saw/heard them for the first time at Roo and their show blew my mind.
Who are you planning to avoid like the plague?
Are we talking music artists or Inforoo members? Music, I don't know them enough to avoid them and Inforoo members....well if you can't say anything nice
What music do you like but are embarrassed to admit?
98-02 pop. I loved it. I'm talking Nsync, Britney, and everything in between. Up until then all I was exposed to was BET. VH-1 came here around 97 and we finally got MTV in 00. So that pop was, not only directed to my age group, but entirely new and exciting and I ate it up.
What is your best skill? (i.e. what are you best at doing?)
Tough question. I don't think I'm really good at anything really.
I'm really good at reading people. Although I doubt that is a skill. I know I freaked Tejas when I first talked to him. I'm a good listener and I give some solid advice sometimes. That's probably one thing I'm really good at.
Being a friend. I'd say that. That's probably my best "skill" It's hard being a good friend and I'm the best one I know. #teamcocky
Oh! Public speaking. I'm pretty good at that when it happens. This question has made me want to get good at something.

I think being good at reading people is definitely a skill! and now for some questions:
since you admitted liking her music, what's your fave Britney song?
token07 First off congratulations my friend on being BMOTM! Very we'll deserving and long over due.
I can attest to your skills at reading people (which is why you should come to the dark side and play a game of mafia
First time I ever talked to token on the phone we talked for 3 hrs. I probably talked for 20 minutes and that's all he needed to get a general idea of what type of person I am. Before that we only talked in chat a few times. Truly amazing and kinda weird lol, but the good kind of weird. Anyways on to your questions
Would your rather know the day your going to die or how your going to die and why ?
Why do you call your self an optimist when really your a pessimist? Yeah buddy I'm going personal
Why do you wear pants at Bonnaroo ? It's sooooo hot
Who's the weirdest customer you've encountered working at the gas station ?
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
What is the scariest thing you've ever done? What was your last dream about? What is your favorite place to go relax (sit in a book store, on a walk in the woods, ...)? Do you have any superstitions? Do you know any other languages? If you had a year off, what would you want to do? What was your first alcoholic drink?
since you admitted liking her music, what's your fave Britney song?
Gimme More. Hands Down. I think that was the last time I was REALLY into her. After that she basically became a robotic zombie.
have you ever sung karaoke?
Oh yes. I love Karaoke. I wish I did more of it actually.
do you have any pets?
None The last pet I had was 15 or so years ago. I really want to get one soon though but it's not the time. Yet.
do you like roller coasters?
I used to love them. I haven't been on one in years now. I had to be about 22 when I was last on one. I remember because that was when I was at my heaviest weight and I couldn't ride it because I was too big and the latch wouldn't connect. Haven't thought about it until now but that was my final coaster ride thus far. I'll have to change that.
what are you most afraid of and why?
Losing the ones I love I think. Death is inevitable but I just don't want to imagine life without certain people. When it happens I'll face it but yeah...probably death in general. The older I get the more "Holy crap I'm closer to death" running through my brain. Sometimes I'm afraid that I won't be able to make a difference for the time I am here.
beach or mountains?
Mountains for sure. I'm not a fan of the beach. It would be nice without all the sand. Sand annoys me like no other.
Which Beatle did the best Rock And Roll cover vocals in the bands early period?
Vocals? Hmm. That's a tough one. I'd say John Lennon though. He had the voice for it. Paul was really good at the screaming bits but overall Lennon could carry those covers better.
What is your favorite George Harrison song from a Beatles album?
While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Hands down. It's also my favorite Beatle song. Not the best song he's written but for sure my favorite.
token07 First off congratulations my friend on being BMOTM! Very we'll deserving and long over due.
I haven't been here that long for it to be "long over due" but thank you.
Would your rather know the day your going to die or how your going to die and why ?
Way to start off the questions
That's a tough one. I'd probably want to know the day. At least then I can plan accordingly. I'd probably take more risks and live for the moment better since I'll know whatever I do won't matter since I know what day it's coming lol. That's when I'd plan a sky diving adventure!
Why do you call your self an optimist when really your a pessimist? Yeah buddy I'm going personal
I disagree that I'm a pessimist first off and I'm insulted that you think I am one.
I consider myself a realistic optimist. I always try and see the bright side of things. Doesn't mean I'm always happy and that I think things are going well. I know life sucks but I also believe it all sucks for a reason. Gotta take the good with the bad.
Why do you wear pants at Bonnaroo ? It's sooooo hot
Why did I? Do implies I've done it more than once.
Nice job sneaking this question in since I didn't answer you at Roo about this. I will play by the rules however. I wore them because I don't own shorts. At all. The last time I wore shorts were in my teens. I don't like my legs much and due to some unfortunate things they got a wee bit scarred. Scarred enough that I'm embarassed to ever let the public see them. I did wear them out once a few years ago to go to the gym (I went to the store and bought the shorts that day to try and get over being uncomfortable of them) and the first thing someone commented on was how skinny my legs were. So there you have it.
Besides it wasn't that hot.
Who's the weirdest customer you've encountered working at the gas station ?
Weirdest? Hm. I don't like that word "weird" but the most interesting is this place guy who only has half a mustache and beard. He does it because he says "Everyone says all black people look alike, well not all of them have half a mustache"....interesting theory, plus he's a nice guy.
And finally.
Why do you love Tejas so much ?
I liked you enough before these questions. I'm not gonna sit online and stroke your ego though so forget it.
You work at a gas station? Dude. My first job was at the shadiest full service gas station ever. I loved it, but man do I have some crazy stories
Yeah I do. I'd love to hear some of them. It's an easy job in theory but it sucks pretty bad and the PEOPLE
For the uninitiated, what is your best tip for growing a power beard?
I wish I was half the man you are and could answer this question. My beard just kinda does it own thing. If I don't touch it it becomes a nappy bush on my face. No tips...just laziness.
Would it surprise you if you saw Tejas on TV for egging Matt Schaub's house?
Kinda. He's actually pretty shy when you get to know him and a germaphobe so I can't imagine him touching eggs. Not without taking a shower between each throw.
What's your favorite...
board game? Oh wow. I haven't played one in years. Hmmmm. Jumanji. That's the one I remember playing the most. Unfortunately nothing awesome happened like in the movie. non-alcoholic drink? Water. Does that count? Second is probably sweet tea cause.....yeah..... adult beverage? Whiskey fruit? I don't think I could ever choose a favorite!!!! Hmmmmm.....grapes? No apples. Oranges! BAH! veg? Broccoli season? Fall. Not too hot and not too cold. sound? I have no idea. Probably the wind. smell? The smell of my moms cooking on Christmas Eve night. taste? The perfect mac and cheese. time of day? That moment right before dawn where the sky is a mixture of color before the sun pops out over the horizon. Or did you mean actual time like a number? If so 7:37. haha number? 7 mammal? I feel like this is a trick question and I'm supposed to say panda.... insect? Butterly and the reason is because I watched a caterpillar go through the journey of becoming one in elementary school and that was one of the most amazing things I've seen. Such a cool creature. fish? Oh wow. Hmm. I've always been fond of Jellyfish. Do they count? They better. reptile? Turtles are pretty cool. amphibian? Frogs

Allowing the beard to create itself is wise advice.
I don't think I've done anything really scary on purpose. Hm. Heh...I remember when I walked to the corner store with my cousin in Detroit. THAT was pretty terrifying.
What was your last dream about?
I don't think I dreamed last night. If I did I don't remember. If I dream tonight I'll update this answer. Sidenote: I really got into lucid dreaming. I got good at it but it can get pretty boring. I'll tell you about that some time if you want.
What is your favorite place to go relax (sit in a book store, on a walk in the woods, ...)?
My room. No place better.
Do you have any superstitions?
I don't think so.
Do you know any other languages?
I don't
If you had a year off, what would you want to do?
I actually almost had one last year and did nothing but get depressed and complain about not having money! hahaha Now if I had the money saved up I'd travel. I want to do a road trip and visit all of my friends before I get too old. If I had a year off I'd just go on an extended road trip.
What was your first alcoholic drink?
Smirnoff Ice. I was 18 and I had my best friend get me one since I was "grown" I could never drink one of those now.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
If Ashely Capps let you pick the headliners for 2014 who would be your ideal headliners ?
Fantasy: The Beatles, obviously.
Reality: The Beatles, obviously.
Seriously though, I have no idea. John Williams would be cool I suppose. Raging out while listening to the Jurassic Park theme would be a unique time. Oh and of course Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter
Honestly...when it becomes visibly dirty. There was a time in my early 20's I didn't think to wash them at all. I was spoiled in that sense. My mom did all that stuff so when I first moved out I think I expected everything to be done magically!

Once a weeeeeeek. Or at least once every other week, if weekly is too ambitious to begin with.
Oh right, I need to ask a question...
Ummmm, will you now launder your sheets in a more timely manner? (<3)
Don't worry dude, these washing sheets twice a day people are being righteous and bourgeois haha. You know they're lying and just trying to cover up for their rancid night emissions that result from dreams about you. F*ck sheets. I sleep with a blanket as a sheet on my floor mattress. When I do have real ones it's only a twice a year thing unless I share my bed with awesome ladies. I wash my sheets twice a year.
I worked at a gas station for like six cycles 'round the sun and hated the people but loved how I turned them all into characters and gave everyone nicknames. Tell us about some of your favorite regulars and their idiosyncrasies.
If you were trapped out in space in only a spacesuit, with an unlimited supply of oxygen (and we're going to say death from food and drink isn't a card in play) which planet would you attempt to float to, and why? Also, what planet would you like to see in place of our moon?

Yeah one thing I do, at least to the ones I don't like, is give them a back story to explain why they are such awful people.
There is this one regular who ALWAYS takes the plastic off of her cigarettes and just throws it on the counter before she leaves. My boss never noticed it until I pointed it out. Sweet lady but COME ON! It's kinda funny now though.
I have this one guy who only has half a mustache so he doesn't look like other black people. He says all black people look the same and he wants to stand out.
Bless her but there's this older lady who is always quitting. She'll not come up there for a few weeks and then she'll come back and get a lighter cig but eventually works her way back up to her norm. It's really sad honestly.
This is a tough question because most of my favorites are pretty boring. They're just really nice. Now if you wanted me to tell you about the douchebags that would be a thing! Thank you for the question Sir. Gab!

Fantastic question! I used to be an astronomy lover back in my youth.
I think I'd float to Saturn to be honest. I obviously can't live there since it's a gas planet but I'd love to see it. I think the rings are the main draw for me. I'd fly up and just chill on one of the rocks that form the rings and just stare into the mass below. I'd probably chill on one of the moons first just to see it from a distance for a while but I'd ultimately move down to the rings. I think it's also the planet I'd like to see off of our horizon. I have this reoccurring dream where I'm arguing with someone that the moon isn't really the mood but Venus since you can see them both. We then look over the horizon and there's Saturn and sometimes Jupiter just hanging out.
I'm sure seeing any other planet up close would blow my mind however.....well except maybe Mercury since in my mind it's just like the moon.
