Hi all! I'm new roo, and while I get ready to pack up (14 more days!!) I was curious, are the bonnaroo nights chilly at all? Should I bring a fleece, or hoody to keep comfortable? Thanks for all of your help, and see you all on the farm!

It got cold overnight when I was asleep but then you wake up all sweaty and hot... I'd bring a hoodie just in case... I like to be prepared for anything.

I always take long sleeves for the nights. In 2006 it actually got cold enough that I slept in all my clothes in my sleeping bag with blankets. Then you wake up at 6am sweating

but yeah, at least bring some long sleeves. i usually stick with a long sleeve tee shirt and i'm fine. just dont fall asleep with a hoodie on....if you dont believe me, try it.

I've worn either a hoodie or long sleeves at every festival I've been to. Once the sun goes down and the beer starts flowing it can get chilly no matter how hot it was during the day.
I remember shivering at night in 07 while the day was unbearably hot.
With the expected high humidity this year, it likely won't get too chilly (lows around 70 and muggy.) The last couple years, with the drought and all, the humidity had been lower and it got as low as 58 one night.
Not likely this year but still better safe than sorry, so I'd pack one just in case.
Ive always felt fine but I am pretty hot natured. I think most people get cold due to all the sun they got during the day. I usually have plenty of sun going into roo so I dont really burn like many people.
what they all said. after MMJ and the big ass rainstorm last year (I actually left three hours into the set) I was frigid and literally shivering all the way back to the tent lol. you wake up hot pretty fast.........
I remember in 2006 falling asleep at the main stage around dusk on Friday wearing short shorts, a tank top, and a sarong and waking up around an hour or two later to chants for the late Tom Petty, the wooshing of certain canisters, and FREEZING my ass off. That's possibly the coldest I've ever been at Roo. I'm usually up and about too much at night to notice, but I did wear longer pants at night last year.
Your probably just gonna need to bring a Jump suit with fluffy insides and just keep it unzipped during the day. Its really the only way you'll make it through roo.

if it's low-mid 90's all day, then drops to high 60's-low70's at night, it feels chilly. Last year on Saturday night during the wind/rain it felt very very cool. It can never hurt to throw an extra sweatshirt or something in the car.

I always carry a fleece in my backback just in case. Worst case scenario, it helps make my pack into a comfy pillow for chilling during downtime.
The coldest that I remember was during The Mars Volta in 05. I was on the outside 'cause the tent was packed and it was freezing. I'm pretty sure it snowed.
