I might bring my harmonicas, maybe my C and G, I love playing the G more than I do the C. And its the only instrument I can actually improvise on, guitar is too tough for me to figure that crap out yet
Just play along with simple stuff (Piano Man, Heart of Gold, a lot of Dylan etc,) and try to figure out the blow/draw thing. I learned while I was a dishwasher while wearing a harmonica rack at work and making a playlist of all harmonica featuring songs and played until it started to make sense and sound decent (plus you learn to multitask like a champ).
Just don't try to play any Blues Traveler, I've been playing for 3-4 years and still refuse to even try because John Popper is a freak on the harmonica,
